Sara shares her insights as a wonderful artist and teacher. Having never had an art class, I appreciate learning foundational and basic art concepts from her. AND she is just plain fun...as is Milo!
What a team at sarafina Your explantion and demonstrations make even a none arty person like me believe it can be achieved Thank you for sharing your skill and knowledge Great camera work milo ♡
Very Helpful!! The head trick is awesome. Always have to felt like crazy trying to get the right shape, but this makes such a better foundation to start with. Thank you for sharing your method!
fantastic, I have watched many tutorials on this but this is by far the clearest one yet. I do not do needle felting I work with polymer clay but this is transferable. Thank you for the fantastic tutorial.
Hi, would it be possible to use this video for my freshmen art class? I'll be working with them to make wire and clay figures and this armature tutorial would be perfect.
Hi Sara! Great video in every regard! This armature is so simple, wish I could use it for life-size figures! I like how you modified the head structure, too. I can see how much better it would be to fill out the head. By the way, I finished my Meri doll. She's not perfect, but she really did come out quite good! Got some photos, just need to get a CD to load them up. Send them soon.
Thanks so much for sharing..,, I enjoyed every second of it and I am going to try it .. hopefully I manage to follow your instruction, which came across sooooooo easy.. haha.. but I am sure there is much skill involved in it and you made it look like a piece of cake.. 2 thumbs up.. I loved your natural self and how you presented your work.. thanks again, very much appreciated... and now I go for your other videos.. *smiles
Hi Sara - Thanks for the wonderful tutorials. I'm making child dolls, let's say six to eight years old. What would ratio of proportions be for this age? Thanks.
Can you please show us how to make a larger armature please??? 1/8 is good but maybe show us a 1/6??? I’m so bad at maths an heavily rely on your videos
This is harder than it looks! I'm on my second armature because I didn't make the head shape correctly the first time. Advise to everyone: don't skip steps!!!

Do you ever do miniatures?
You must have very strong fingers... I cannot twist the 16 gage wire with my fingers!!!
Maybe because mine is galvanized?
***** Thanks!!!

This is a lot like drawing the skeleton when drawing people!

Que pena não entendo a sua língua, acabo por poder toda a explicação!
Yes, must be aluminum, NOT galvanized! Very hard to find at the hardware store. I had to order it on line, Blick!
