Can't beat the old finger pick up units in corn planter technology. They plant any size seed, and combination in the planter box, easy maintenance. Been running with that and bean seed meters in a 1760 planter. I will probably never go with all that technology the 1790 has. Just don't need it. Need $4 corn and $10 soys a hell of a lot more

Everyone tells me I know more than most the JD salesman - lol - so I figure just as well share that info for others to learn from if they are in the market for something... most of this info - i learned the hard way - lol ... Thanks for the tag the other day - your corn looks fantastic... weve been very dry here - but had good sunsoil moisture .. we finally had 2 rains the past couple days... one was 4/10 and a couple days later a 1.55 ....those rains really made everything come to life - the crops looking good now ... If our markets come back and we have a good crop, we might have a decent year in 2021 ... Have a great day!
