This recipe of yours popped out now & I got to see it , very nicely prepared & also explained well ⭐ ⭐👍thanks Geeta aunty 🙏 also liked the stone grinder small & compact 👌
Whenever Vadas are made, I always think of my mother who used cook Vadas ( gaarelu i n Telugu) for four devils, their father and their Grandmother on almost all festivals struggling with the mortar. By the time we gather for lunch ( no dining table) , barely two or three left with lots of ginger chutney. I am sure mothers like she and you never bothered about your share. Now, my share is two, with lot of begging my wife grants two more. Seeing the plateful in your video, I am wondering how to steal the plate and who wants chutney for the eternal Vadas?🥰🤩🤩🤩🤩🤪🤪🤩
Aunty I saw first time your video I really like you - your motherly look. Keep up the good work we will support you. God bless you good health and do come with many more khana
I have been an admirer of all your healthy recipies for few months now. Yesterday I tried your recipe and it was a grand sucess. Thank you for not just the recipe, but also the little tips where you know one will tend to go wrong ☺
I just watched you for the first time aunty, I will surely try , for beginners like me the way u showed it to be simply and easy … I have soaked the urad dal I will surely make it . And I have also saw your video on idly with idly rava so soaked for that too…
Made medu vada today for the 1st time using this recipe. Used half of 1/4 cup of water for 1/2 cup of urad dal (soaked for 3.5 hours) for grinding in my mixer and did the water test as well. Batter was perfectly done. Didn't add anything except salt and they turned out to be super soft and crispy. Also didnt absorb much oil. Thank you mam...
Thank you Amma. Medu vaada is traditionally made. But, it enhances it's preparation with your explanation. Thank you Anna stay blessed with all love, happiness, health and care🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for sparing your time to share the recipes like a mother....I like south indian dishes alot...And you made it very easy for me (before your guidance, whenever I cook south indian dish, it's like I am experimenting😂😂)....thanks a tonne...And lots of love to you maa😍

I love your videos Gita mami. Your explaination, tips and recipes are authentic, simple and so homely and amazing 👌 I used to makes vadas regulsrly. My vadas these days burst in hot oil so i have not been making. How can i avoid this and restart my vada making? I will be very grateful if you can give your tips. Thank you so much🙏
Yes you can definitely do it. One reason could be that the batter was not ground well . Try again It will not burst .What kind of salt do you use? In case it has any dust particles then it might burst.Try again It will definitely come out well . Take care
Ma’am, I am a big fan of yours. I love South Indian food more than I love my own, Gujarati, cuisine. The kind of taste one gets in South, I haven’t yet got that taste in Mumbai anywhere. Been to a few houses in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, and the homemade dosas, idlis and vadas are to die for, and so are the rice and vegetable dishes. I do make dosas and idlis, from scratch, with the recipe my physics teacher from Chennai had given me. And the dosas turn out to be as good as the ones you make at home. Looking forward to learning a lot of traditional recipes from you. Thanks a million for sharing them. 🙏🏼
