Hold up I just bought a car and the previous owner deleted all the chrome by taping it with vinyl but I don't like the look of it. Do you suggest buying acetone and then scraping it off after that?

Denatured alcohol, Acetone ,Gasoline,90 proof alcohol, brake pad cleaner, carb cleaner , nail polish remover,lacquer thinner,. I do this for a living. All these things work but mus be put on and removed quickly then wash the car afterwards with soap and water and towel drywith microfiber towel not bath towel or tarry towels or u will scratch clear coat to remove all residue
got this on my wheelchair rims its the bit on the outside of the wheels where you use your hands to push that keeps cracking you reckon the heat gun will work?
This is exactly what I have tried to do this morning with soapy water and white spirit... I failed :o) On to Rustoleum or similar I guess. Thanks for the info.
@@christianpizano3578 brake cleaner will remove paint too? I know brake fluid will strip paint but didn’t think brake cleaner will. I use MEK at the body shop I work at and have never had a problem with it damaging the paint
The tip of the day ,..if u use this PLEASE always smoke around them ,..while using them . I use WD-40 overnight ,..let the wrap ,..marinated in the 40 sauce ,..next morning ,..peal ,..repeat if necessary ,…remember,..patent’s are Payless ,…don’t be cheap!

Use break cleaner or lacquer thinner for the adhesive. Your fucking welcome from a guy whos been doing this shit for over 25 years
Methyl Ethyl Ketone or MEK is my favorite go. The two you mentioned above also work well
