Their engineering and engine design were well ahead of their time. A few years ago I was shown some hydraulic valve lifters from a 1930s Packard engine. They were ROLLER lifters!! It would be over 50 years later before the other Detroit manufacturers utilized these on their factory engines-HALF a CENTURY!!!!

Nothing is going to happen there. Who would invest real money in building something in an area like that? The "locals" will just loot and burn the place within a matter of weeks if anything of any value is placed on that site. Just tear it down and leave it as a field.
