Looks fantastic. I’m waiting on the blue one, mainly because I wanted the black bed not the gray bed like the yellow one, love that silver looks great. Appreciate the video. I did just subscribe 8:36 AM Thursday, August 22 watching from Manchester, Michigan, I’ll be here watching for more.👍👍😎
For the winch, how about using a pulley on the recovery vehicle and then running the hook back to the bed. Like a block and tackle. In off-road recovery we use pulleys a lot. Although I don't know how much cable is on the spool
I like the Arktos very much .I change tires and rims and the Arktos climb very well also its no problem Uphill with my Katana on the bed. My propellershafts pop two times out because this i search for metal ones.
@@Campnowhere Not hard at all for the cab. You just have to detach the cab from the grill which is about 4 to 6 screws. The grill is with the hing and stays attached to the chassis. I just did some light sanding to scuff it up, washed it, and used a plastic adhesive paint.
@@basc5026 Reefs servo winch is the same size as the NSDRC. And the NSDRC Nano is too small. I have an idea for an adapter but I’ll see if I can pull it off.
@@trimshady5180 I’ll say about 80% of RTRs need upgrades to make them perform better out the box but I wouldn’t say it was crap. The stock links are definitely too soft and they said they’ve made a hard upgrade to fix that. Other than that I added some low end weight and it performed very well. I also changed to metal driveshafts as I do most of my rigs. Do you have a video of it doing so bad?
I think you get a lot for your money nothing is going to be perfect to your liking. I think for $200 it's a good start what do you suggest for the same money that's better
I love the silver paint with those wheels 😦

I really appreciate all this info for when I get mine, super cool dude I appreciate you👍👍 this is the beauty of this awesome hobby. Love it.👍👍

What tires are those? Nice paint job!
What wheels are those? BTW the FCX 1/18 links fit.
@@blake_0007 Meus wheels. And somebody in a FB group mentioned the fcx18 links but he didn’t do the rear links.
Hobby plus already makes the links, diff. housings, bearing kit, steering link & mount, wheels with brass, and most.
@@joseaponte2829 Yeah, now they do. Look how old this video is. I got this truck when it first came out and none of those things existed at the time.
Yeah I see.... Just got mine yesterday.
How hard was it to take apart to paint. What kind of prep did you have to do?

Piece of crap! Under powered and needs a lot of upgrades to make it capable! Don't waste your money!
