BBQs are the perfect application for biogas. Warm weather increased gas production and the need for outdoor entertaining.👍

I couldn't agree more Ian. My only suggestion if your thinking of doing it is to make a better wind break as the flame gets blown around a bit because it's not under pressure.

A good experiment. Well done. Just make sure everything is safe. Some sort of backflash arrester along the gas pipe may help make it safer 👍

Thanks Rob, Ive never heard of them, I'll look it up and put one in!

@@cornerstonevalley Sorry they are called (Flashback Arrestors). You can find out what they do on TH-cam. They are great safety devices. If you know a qualified gas plumber they should be able to give you some good advice.

@@Rob.P Thanks Rob. I've been wanting to compress the biogas into a gas cylinder as well, but am a bit cautious about the risk of explosion.

@@cornerstonevalley Hi, if it was me, I think it may be safer to use an extra uncompressed storage solution instead. If you have the room, that may be all you need. There are different types on TH-cam. Some of them need to be secured or fixed to the ground incase of strong winds. What ever you decide to do, safety is the most important when comes to flammable gas. I would also find out if there are any prohibiting laws in your area just incase.

@@Rob.P Yeah, I quite like the idea of the storage bladder in an IBC tank, which makes the securing to the ground very easy. However, if I can compress it safely, it would be safer to have the gas stored in a cylinder and in a bladder. I've been speaking to a Chemical engineer and he thinks the risk of explosion is not too great.

Nice work Ned. How long did the snags take to cook?

Thanks Steve, about 25 minutes, not any longer than lpg.
