I struggled with that fight to save Gotrek and Felix, only because Gotrek in particular seemed INTENT on fullfilling his oath. Also just a tip, the landships don't have great melee defense so unlike the steam tanks they are really meant to be kept moving more. It's why they have the boost. Congrats on cubbo number 2!

Congrats Lionheart, things are looking solid and honestly after beating Vlad I feel like you’re basically done. Only thing is mention is to remember to get the schematic upgrade for units like steam tank and the land ship since you’re using them (also hell blasters cause I’m pretty sure that upgrade applies to the black lions regiment)

It should be noted that Deaths timekeeper is really more of a healing tool for Elspeth than a something for character sniping.
It doesn't do all that much damage, but using it restores health for Elspeth, so it makes more sense to save it until Elspeth has taken a few hits and use it to heal her back up. If you just wanna do a bit of damage, Spirit Leech is the better option since it doesn't have limited uses and actually tics three more times whilst dealing the same damage per tick as the timekeeper.

I hope the Nemesis Crown won't nuke your chances of friendships with your neighbours, I've heard other players say they were literally at war with every faction they'd encountered except the Empire ones.
Having the Dawi and Kislev turn on you could be pretty catastrophic as you're off hunting the Ogres and Drycha.

Honestly, replace some of the infantry with gortrek and felix, you don't rly need regular infantry units with the amount of legendary hero's you would have + elspeth
My playthrough I basically put all my hero's up front with elspeth and hammered the enemies with my artillery and gunpowder units (also used steam tanks as a melee replacement too)

That volley gun in the ambush could have had over 200 kills if you let it sit in one place and unload.

That's fair. Probably should have had some infantry blocking for it. Volley guns are literal bullet hoses that do crazy damage.

@@lionheartx10 I mean, you could have just sat it infront of the enemy formation instead of the sides, which would have meant they wouldn't immediately have been close enough to chase it.

Why didn't you use your melee infantry during the quest battle? You almost lost Gotrek & Felix there.
Sometimes you just gotta spread your RoRs to several different armies to bolster them all.
Does Vampire Coast feel jealousy? If so, they might do so towards the land ship.
AR may be drunk sometimes, but other times you are when deciding to manually fight. 🙃

Doing an ambush with a gun-heavy army is rather pointless since your strength lies in shooting the enemy from far away and not engaging in melee as long as possible. At least I think so.

Yeah but the intention of using ambush stance is to draw the enemy our and surprise them you can then just deploy right back instead of ambushing around the line to maximise firing time
