    What a thrill to find this amazing interview on TH-cam! Shirley’s book OUT ON A LIMB changed my life over 30 years ago and gave validation to my thoughts and feelings by confirming my “knowingness”. I had the pleasure of knowing the late John Schlesinger and for a while we were close friends. When Shirley came to London for the premiere of Madam Suzatska (how do you spell that name?) I sent Shirley a letter of thanks c/o John’s London address. Not only was she gracious enough to reply but we corresponded for a short while. Thank you dear Shirley for all your courage to speak the truth in a world that really doesn’t want to know. You are such a special human being and I hope that wherever you are in the world you are feeling happy and fulfilled. With much love and respect, Granville Lee-Warner (Athens, Greece 6/7/23)

      she was most likely attacked for her interest specifically in the Billy Meier contact case... the whole grey alien/area 51 that has been mass marketed and proliferated all over the mainstream is a military industrial complex containment narrative keeping the public, even so called ufo experts, in a narrow band of study, with much disinformation... the Meier case on the other hand is NOT part of this narrative and is often attacked in msm circles... the Meier case is off limits where grey aliens are okay for the mainstream and high profile people.. so celebrities can't publicly come out for Billy Meier, but have to veil it or be ruined or even cancelled... it is Meier and his information on reincarnation that got her in trouble

    As I walked down Granville Street in Vancouver on a summers eve in 1988, a small crowd on the sidewalk ahead cheered. A lady was walking out of the Granville Theater along a red carpet toward a limo waiting at the curb. Suddenly from behind me a young man yelled, "Booooo!" Shirley stopped mid-carpet and turned her head my way, looking me directly in the eyes. So did the crowd, with disgusted looks on their faces. I had no idea who she was, but the smile on her face and the love in her eyes as she visually pondered the one she believed had shouted negatively at her. I was mortified. She turned away and continued to her awaiting ride. I asked some people in the crowd who was this? A couple that knew it was not me who had shouted, replied "Shirley MacLaine!" It was the premiere of Madame Sousatzka in Vancouver. I was 22 years old, and had never heard of Shirley. Because of this interesting experience, I sought out more information and found her accomplishments and books, which ultimately set me on a path of deep spiritual reflection and a quest for answers of the soul. Life. What a coincidence. I just adore Shirley because of the gifts she pushed me toward. Sometimes to get to the fruit on the tree, you have to go out on a limb.

    Shirley was my wake-up call. In the early 1980's she did an 8-part series about metaphysics. I remember her in a hot spring talking about being out-of-body and the silver chord. I was fascinated by it, but I didn't start finding books until 1989 when I started to get involved.
    This video was done in 2011 before the 12-21-12 shift. A lot of energy was received, but humanity wasn't ready. This is our second chance coming soon, we have to raise the frequency to love and respect. The dark side has been dividing humanity to keep us from ascending to the new frequency. I think Shirley should do a live chat show about metaphysics, I have a plan. I have had strong feelings that Shirley was my sister in another life.

      The first time I read or heard about the silver cord, I recalled a memory. Firstly, let me say that I remember my family's move to our new home the summer I was two and a half. That's almost my first memory and its just a few seconds event that ends abruptly. However, after learning about the silver cord around twenty years ago, I remembered a memory in my crib in that new house. In the memory, I'm lying on my back in the dark with the moonlight coming through the window. I'm absently playing with that beautiful silvery cord of light. Every time I reach for it, my hand grazes right through. This amuses me immensely. I reach forward to grasp and again my hand brushes right through. So, I proceed to wave my arm back and forth through this wonderful ribbon. Really, I think it may have only been a dream. It feels dreamlike.

And this was very disillusioning to me since I loved her in every single film...so beautiful and funny. Not so in person...a malcontent. I think, personally, she never found a man who really loved her. It's hard in Hollywood, as the male stars only want one thing....no commitment. Of course she and her husband had an "open-marriage" so either could sleep with whomever they pleased. I only pray she finds God...the true God of Abraham..and our Messiah, Yeshua. 😪

She was accompanied with a couple and spent a bit of time hanging out in the store. She was nice, a bit demanding about getting the lighting set a certain way in the mirrors. I now see she was trying to see how the hat protected her face from the sun.

    I grew up hearing "Nobody's Perfect".
    In my 30's while living in NYC, i analyzed it and came up with " perfection is meeting the needs of those who expect something from you , parents and employers . and if you don't realize we all make the same mistakes , well you're in as much trouble as the rest of us.
    PS: I'm looking up PERFECTION.🤔

    • @wendyfay16
      @wendyfay16 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      And as you've said, you're still looking for it, but the question is, of whom? If we continue to expect perfection from ourselves, or others ... we will continue to come up wanting. The Japanese ensure that there is no perfection, so ensure that no matter how small, there must be a flaw in everything. I don't know if it's still the case, but if something very valuable was broken or cracked, they would repair the crack with gold.

A lot of people have “a piece of the puzzle”, they are not perfect, they put themselves out there - warts and beauty marks both. They are not meant to be idolized, but to stimulate your own discovery. Do your own work. Everyone has a story. Discover yours. She offers you a jumping off point. Grateful for her for this. She still has a lot of work of her own. Don’t inventory her. Not your job.

I collected her email as that would be the closest I could come to her and maybe the fact that she was interested in some land near my home region. I loved reading about her and her views on reincarnation. I always wanted to act but as I approached the subject, something backed me off. Most often, It was money. My dreams of living in Spain just to get near my ancestral castle would be the highlight of my life as I would be dancing in the larger circle in a very big way up through time and family to all of Europe. Shirley is a modern prophetess but by the end I have to admit that I felt a little bad for Leonard. I think she made her point, then ripped his balls out and stomped on them in front of everyone. He stood his ground and I feel like he somewhat redeemed himself. It's interesting to watch this kind of power struggle play out. I think that part of the problem is what the modern interview has become, which seems to be more about the quantity of questions and no interest in letting the speaker fully elaborate before cutting them off and changing the topic. What if they were more cyclical and organic and there wasn't a written checklist to get through? I personally think that that would be far more interesting.

      That is spot on! I just posted a scathing comment about how shitty this guy is because he seemed too distracted and not the least bit interested in what she was saying. He was rude and if she did rip his balls off it was because he had them on display. If he had listened to her and asked meaningful questions relevant to what she was talking about we would've gotten so much more content. He needs to study Larry Kings method. Or change professions. I am aware that im being very judgemental but the whole thing was frustrating. I hope she cusses him out when they go back stage. Lol

      The greatest interviewer was the English interviewer Michael Parkinson. He'd have been brilliant with her! He knew what to ask, when to ask, and most importantly, when to shut up and listen! He did some of the best interviews with some of the most amazing people ever! In fact he probably interviewed Shirley McLean in all of his years ... I'll have to check it out. People practically begged him to interview them .... and when you hear all of the amazing, brilliant and diverse people who Shirley has had conversations with, only the creme de le creme could make the most of an interview, or perhaps I should say, have a discussion with Shirley McLean .... and certainly not just go through a list of 20 questions! It was such a waste, and almost an insult to someone with her wide knowledge and wisdom.

    When I was just a child I saw a late nite tv show where she discussed these topics, I recall the Host looking at her like she was crazy, my family thought what she said was crazy but I found her fascinating. I even told my family then, as a child, that I didn't belong on this planet. I was immature to know what she knew but I knew i liked her, I saw something, I heard something in her. This year I experienced a spiritual Awakening after a NDE, and I've always had Ms. MacLaine in my thoughts, so relating to her still but of course on a different level now.
