Not all lawyers are equal in ability and judges also vary on sentences. The likelihood of reoffending as well. Accountability or remorse, attitude in court. Theres too many factors

The grandmother let them do whatever they wanted while they were living with her. When the morher came to take them back to live with her they had rules and the kids didn't like it. The mother gave them everything they wanted but didn't allow them the freedon to hang out late and that's where the problems began. The kids said they wanted to go back and live with grandma because she let them do what they wanted.

Nikki was a beautiful soul. It is so sad she tried so hard to make sure the girls didn’t go to the same path Nikki did and it resulted in her death. Obviously like every parent she may have not been perfect especially with her love triangle thing, but her discipline with her children over not hanging out with older boys as they were minors at the time was very understandable. My mom would have done the exact same with me and I didn’t have a problem with that unlike these girls because I wasn’t raised to be a spoiled brat like these girls due to their great grandmother. The grandmother let them do whatever they wanted while they were living with her. When the morher came to take them back to live with her they had rules and the kids didn't like it. The mother gave them everything they wanted but didn't allow them the freedon to hang out late and that's where the problems began. The kids said they wanted to go back and live with grandma because she let them do what they wanted.
Great Grandma let them get away with everything. Mum tried to fix that and paid for it with her life.

I can’t believe some people are really giving excuses to these monsters.. Nikki was trying to get her daughters to NOT end up being pregnant teenagers who were constantly getting into trouble and ruining their lives, since all the great-grandma raised was troubled teens.. 2 generations were already ruined because of this, so once she got older and saw her 13yo daughters having complete freedom and no rules she decided to finally mom-up and try to raise her daughters right. They don't always like it but they at least know im not doing it to just be strict. Its scary what people are capable of. Well that is because your kids are not psychopaths and they have a conscience :) Your children have a neo frontal cortex that lights up on a kat scan showing the part of the brain that handles empathy and emotions is working. With a psychopath that does not light up they are people without a soul. That is why your kids behave and don't get violent. I'm glad you are a happy parent.

I would put money on it that Tas was the main perpetrator, and that she coerced and guilted Jas into helping. Probably even in the middle of the crime. The mug shots, the body language in the security footage, their demeanour, the fact that Jas went on to graduate, but not Tas...it all points to Jas not being inthesame psychological mindset as Tas, both during and after.

Nikki was a beautiful soul. It is so sad she tried so hard to make sure the girls didn’t go to the same path Nikki did and it resulted in her death. Obviously like every parent she may have not been perfect especially with her love triangle thing, but her discipline with her children over not hanging out with older boys as they were minors at the time was very understandable. My mom would have done the exact same with me and I didn’t have a problem with that unlike these girls because I wasn’t raised to be a spoiled brat like these girls due to their great grandmother.
Another thing that gets to me is she gave birth to these two and did her best and they pay her back by killing their own mother. I can’t imagine how horrifying that moment was for poor Nikki. It’s got to have been horrible to see her own daughters she gave birth to murdering her. And the fact they stabbed her 80 TIMES is complete overkill and makes me so mad they only got 30 years in prison. They need life.

My mother was my best friend, but she stopped speaking to me when I left her religion (JW), but I wouldn't lay a hand on her for anything. If she attacked me I would run away. I wouldn't even call police. I'd stay away if I though she wanted to really hurt me, but that was never the case. I don't believe she abused her children for one moment.
