- The UglyBROS range of armoured motorcycle jeans offer great fit and style in both mens and womens jeans, now in stock and available from Urban Rider:
www.urbanrider....
UglyBROS jeans have distinctive Moto styling owing to the neat way the armour fits into external pockets on the jeans, saving time and hassle. The womens Twiggy jean offers the best fitting and most stylish womens motorcycle jean on the market, in our humble opinion.
In this video review we take a look at the features of the UglyBROS collection as a whole and run through a few of the best sellers. The Motopool jeans are available in 2 colours:
UglyBROS Motorpool in Olive:

UglyBROS Motorpool in Black:

The 2Slub-K offer extra abrasion resistance owing to the reinforced Kevlar panels inside the jeans:

The Triton jeans have a leather like appearance due to the polyurethane coating applied to the denim outer:

The Twiggy ladies jeans offer a slim fit which remains comfortable.

I bought a pair of the tight skinny jeans. I'm 58 and felt a bit goofy at first like I was trying to be a hipster but the salesman at the shop where I bought them said if you go down and your armor moves you might as well not have any. That makes total sense and when I see people ride in baggy cargo type riding pants I feel like they were a good investment.
Love my motorpools, really are the most comfortable riding jeans ive ever owned. One thing I love about them is the fact they dont ride up the ankle like alot of other riding jeans tend to do.
Are these CE Mark tested and approved??? if so to what standard???? even 5 years ago pre 21st April 2018 these would have needed to be so approved to be sold legally.
What pants are you wearing in this video Andrew?
Thanks for this review. I currently wear regular jeans with SGS Abra Guard longjohns underneath. In the office it does get pretty warm obviously, but I still can just take of the longjohns. How do the ugly bros or any motorbike jeans with kevlar inside work in terms of warmth and comfort in the office or in the summer?
It really depends on the brand and even which model in their own range. The Uglybros are probably the lightest (least hot) out of all the armoured jeans we do, so better for summer.
@@UrbanRiderlondon do y'all make a pair that you can put a large smart phone in?
The Fuel Captains look like they might be similar. How do they compare?
Heh, I was going to ask the same
are they water-resistant, or just like the regular jeans when it comes to the rain?
These are not water resistant. Relatively few jeans are. If that's something you require the best two options are the Rev'it Orlando H2o, or the Rokker Revolution jeans. My preference is a normal bike jean and just slip on a pair of rain trousers if required as I prefer the all day comfort and regular feel of the non water resistant jeans. Cheers, Andrew
sir.. morning.. waterproof or not sir?
Hi Steven. No, they are not waterproof sadly. - Iza
o.. okok.. thanks.
Just found your channel already a fan. Keep it up good info
hi gang! hoping to pick up a pair of these bad boys.
I've got athletic thighs. I've measured my regular stretch skinnys and using the Uglybros, do you think the stretch is enough, or do you recommend sizing up?
Thanks!
Hi Nadzri! Uglybros are a bit tight in general so it's a tricky question as we are all different. I would recommend having a closer look at our size guide on the model you are after and see which size is the closest. You are always welcome to send them back to us for a refund or an exchange.
Hope this helps! - Iza
I'm confused, your other video said this brand is from Korea but in this video you said from LA, USA.
They are based in both Korea and USA
no different leg lengths is a deal killer
these or saint unbreakable?
@Kudagra How come? What's the big difference here? One is Kevlar and one is Dyneema
At those prices, I’ll stick with my Resurgence Pekev cargo pants thanks
also its just basic denim, no Kevlar, no real protection over a regular jean other than some armour pockets.
@@Omar-kw5uiWrong. They have kevlar liming.
@@catdaddy666 no, you’re wrong. Look how old the comment and video is and that might give you a hint. Make sure you know what you’re talking about before you accuse others of being wrong.
@@Omar-kw5ui Wrong. They have kevlar lining and had kevlar lined jeans 6 years ago. Suck a fat cock.
@@Omar-kw5ui Nope. They had kevlar lined jeans 6 years ago. Wee tah ded.
Fanny about with.... love it 😂😂😂
Been wearing them for 3 years and my ass still looks hella phat 🤙
I thought uglybros is korean campany??
Probabley made in Korea,or Indea were labour is cheap (slave labour).
The company operates and is registered in the US. Scoot is right in that the garments are made in S.Korea. We import directly from their base in the USA.
Yeah they are Korean, gear looks great, just not on the dodgy Urban rider mannequin 😂😂
Scoot Jockey Nop. I pretty sure they are korean company. You can look it up in their US web site about the company page "This focus forced us to look closer to home (Seoul S.Korea) for our manufacturing". I had their jeans for years, even before they start marketing for US and SK labor cost is super high for SEA standard.
It appears you're right. They seem to have very much relocated their operations to the US for now. Thanks for the info! Andrew
These are just dropshipped from China, the actual brand is called Volera and are sold for 20$
Those are over priced for no reason. So many nocked off in ebay. They have no protection at all and just recently they came up with the K version which is dated for new technology
Bought it last week. Used it for 4 days, washed it and used it earlier, damn jeans ripped from my thigh part :(
Hi Teng, did you get them from us? I can't find you on our system. If so, please send us an email and we'll look into it as they'll be under warranty. I've noticed a lot of fakes of these jeans being advertised. Hopefully that's not the case here.
Nope. Got it from Philippines. It's from a legit seller/shop; it's just that maybe it was too tight for me when my friend bought it for me? But it should be stretchable and withstand for a long time right? Anw, it's fine. I guess I'll have to personally check the pants again before I buy it.
I bet these things will fall apart in a crash, armour or not.
Do you sell anything that isn't skin-tight, Andrew?
Yes. www.urbanrider.co.uk/motorcycle/trousers/armoured-jeans.html
These are not jean that give you any protection at all unless you just don't want a sunburn on the legs. They are nothing other then a pair of jean with a knee pocket and a couple of stretchy spots. As far as the pants go they are tight tight in the legs. unless your a skinny kid. The "armor" that come with them are just cheap ass foam pads. I bought two pair one for me and one for my wife. as soon as I open the box and saw them, I returned them...$340 for a pair of jeans. Carhart makes better jeans then these. and some of theirs have knee pockets for $50. the jeans I got had No protective liner. I would be embarrassed to claim these were motorcycle safe pants. They are not. I returned them ....
The 'K' range of Uglybros are the ones with Kevlar lining in. It sounds like these are the ones you want. The video does mention that some of the ones featured don't have an aramid lining. There are plenty that do though now and we also offer these. New reviews will be coming shortly. Thanks, Andrew
Tight pants
These look like skinny fit...
They pretty much are, but with a bootcut for of course... a boot.
