NCC means acquiring a LIFE LONG DISCIPLINE | Dr. Kiran Bedi

Dr.Kiran Bedi, Hon'ble Lt Governor flagged off the Ocean Sailing Expedition 'Samudra Pheri' by NCC group today (10 july 2018) at 08.10 am at Thengaithittu harbour in the presence of comr. Vijesh K Garg, Dy.Dir. Genl. (TN & P), DIG S C Tyagi, Coast Guard Comr, Puducherry
The ocean sailing expedition was from Puducherry to southern of Tamilnadu and back..
These Young cadets have been winning toughest awards from the last 3 years. From crossing Rough sea, strong winds, etc... along with coastal cleaning, social service..& more
All cadets who took part were not ordinary but selected toughest candidates..
2 years back Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Dr. Kiran Bedi when visited had said, WHY NOT GIRLS ?
And from then they started to take up this challenge. Now from the last year, girls are also taking part in the same expedition with the boys.
The following initiative was also cherished and praised by our Hon’ble PM in delhi & they received a trophy 🏆 too.
Today Dr. Kiran Bedi while addressing NCC cadets....said that
She is very happy to be part of this for consecutively 3 years.
She also said, “ I am an over grown NCC cadet myself, so I understand that NCC means acquiring a Life Long Discipline .. love for hard work, being a team member, leadership, accepting discomfort to achieve something & more..one must read and practice...in life..
You cannot succeed in life without being FIT,
