I think the freedom of choice and consent is an important one here. My viera is my viera, and her story had been shaped many years ago and are living to this day. That doesn't mean others have the same thing too and you should indeed *not* be the star all of the time.

0:49 adding to this but do try to refrain from being extremely in character in non role playing situations such as using the duty finder system to complete dungeons as other players may not consent to be involved in role play
That’s not a bad point. I never ran into that issue myself, but I have heard of occasional complaints. With anything in a cooperative game it’s important to try to get folks on the same page if you are directly affecting their gameplay. Within reason.
I don't mind those unless they actually slow down our progress. They're ignorable at worse and entertaining at best. You sound like you had a really bad one lol
