I haven't been there yet, but from all I've heard about it so far, it makes me anxious to even get myself out there. 😂 But glam will take me to Bozja at some point, too. 🤩
Think about that: as a Mentor, you get queue for random Extreme Trials that Sprouts OBLIVIOUSLY queue using Duty Finder, without knowing about Party Finder and prog parties. Now imagine having to explain to a bunch of RANDOMS the mechs of - I dunno - RAMUH EXTREME, a Trial that nobody does synced since ARR, and now you are actually SYNCED and having to teach people how things work. You become utterly insane
I actually enjoyed proving Ramuh as a new tank 😂 but would I go back there again after getting the mount? Probably not lol! I get what you mean. It's a... burden to bear. 😂
Well, he is being sarcastic - but he's also dead serious XD The funny part is that the house he shows is mediocre at best :D If you check out what some real housing enthusiasts put together... thats something else :) And dont feel like a creep: if people leave their houses open it means they want you to come and drool around :D Also, if you cant get a house, get an appartment, either in your FC house or in the big apartment building every housing area has: its small, yes, and you cant do any gardening, but the thing you actually can build in there should keep you busy for quite some time :) Ultimates arent as difficult as people think (at least thats people who do run them claim). Each run, if you succeed, takes around 20 minutes, a virtual brain-marathon, plus each player has to perform their individual responsibility otherwise you wipe: you cant get carried (despite what people say about Rich and his Ultimate runs).
I love going around and looking at what people manage to do with their homes. It's art that I could never reproduce 😂 my FC room is just full of stuff I find gorgeous, but nothing seems to fit together lol! I'm not quite there yet with my job, but not even attempting ultimates would feel like a waste. One day, imma get there. 😂
Mentor has a bunch of requirements to do in order to get it, and it keeps increasing as more content is added. It used to be to have done every dungeon/trial/guildleve/etc. way back when. Now I think there's a commendation requirement along with it as well. It's a funny video, but a lot of what he says is really true, part of what makes it funny lol. Mentors can be some of the worst people you'll run into (either their attitude or their advice) and most people who are helpful and actually try to help new players don't even have mentor status lol (like me! \o/ jk). Most of the mentors are just there to try to eventually get the mount, or to have access to sprout chat which can be...*shivers* eek.
Most mentors I've met so far are really nice, but that's just been my experience 🤗 there is a sort of disconnect when ir comes to differences in the experience and knowledge, but I suppose it evens out at some point after a new player settles in (hasn't happened to me just yet lol!).
@@VeePlaysMMO yeah it's not to say you'll meet any really, your server might be pretty good. But there's a lot of servers and mentors out there who are really just there for the rewards they get and they don't care about actually being helpful. It's part of the reason the requirements for mentor status have been changed, even though it doesn't deter people who have no interest in helping new players. That's all.
That's true. It's a bit beyond me that they put a mount reward as one of the incentives, as everyone wants mounts 😂 but it's too late to take it away now lol!
Can confirm glamers do everything for glam. I only started and grinded Bozjan just for a specific piece of glam.

If it comes from Misshapen Chair, it's heavy with both sarcasm and truth.
I'm only just starting to discover their other videos. Love the channel! 🤩
Mentors are something you apply for. You have to meet a specific set of requirements and then go apply. I'm a crafting mentor lol

Id interviewed people in Cactuar and theres a bunch of them play just to do glam, take screenshots, and spend fantasia.
All are valid reasons to play an MMO 🤗 I see no problem with that lol!

I'm a sprout who keeps taking alts to 50 knowing full damn well I can just change jobs or use the free alter character potion.
Is it for the sake of leveling and enjoying it, or for some other reason? 🤗
