How the heck can a single guitarist occupy so much sonic space while playing so tightly?? Never caught on the studio albums that much but live, this is a whole different thing. Well done!

I used to think guitarists like Luca Turilli, Olaf Thorsen, Timo Tolkki, etc. were great, but this one is just different... Maybe not so fast but he is in another level...
Nothing too biggy here, hes tone is simple and great coming straight out from peavey 5150 II peavey cab 4*12 or Huges Kettner cabs and the phase which you hear or the so called flanger sound come from an old Boss rack unit which is a GX 700 thats all what he use and some delay with reverb.
They tricked me into not enjoying the Symphony X's show they opened... My mind was blown by then. A friend of mine had to carry me out after the concert

I saw them the next after ProgPower in Charlotte, what an intimate show it was, only 50 or so people were there but all die hard PM fans! PM looked disappointed until the first note then you could tell they felt like it was a crowd of 50,000! Got to hang out with them after the show and they are all super nice guys, very awesome experience! :D
I need to see these guy's live.... This is amazing. I haven't seen a band have this much fun in a long time. They are soooo heavy. The singer is amazing.

@WowzaGuy this guitarist is easily in my top 10 of all guitarists. even in top 5! because he sounds even better live than in the studio, and that is called being a TRUE guitarist! have you looked at Necrophagist? the lead guitarist/vocalist had once (and is still i think, not sure) short hair, a little less than the guitarist in PM. just giving you an example about it doesn't matter what you look like, just if you feel comfortable in your own look, then its the best look for you.
i see his drum rack is made by PDP interesting. did not know that they make racks... their pedals kind of suck... his Tama kit rules... that's what i got... Tama for life

his rig is insane. it's a high quality guitar into a high quality amp but in between is an effects rig that is pretty much as good as it gets.
