      UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Semi-final
      Somewhere in April, 2019
1st League at Camp Nou, Barcelona
      Barca 3-0 Liverpool
      2nd League at Anfield, Liverpool
      Liverpool 4-0 Barca
Liverpool wins the tie and qualifies for final.
After the 1st league, many taught it was over. Usually, If Barcelona beat you 3-0, its almost impossible to overturn the tie. So it was a crazy night when Barca lost by 4 goals to Liverpool in the 2nd league. It was a very big game and a massive night.
But to add to the point, barcelona had already started declining just after Neymar left in August, 2018. On that night, Liverpool were also without without some key players due to injury and suspension, including your man Mo Salah.
And Just the previous year Barcelona were knocked out of the Champions league Quarter finals by AS ROMA of Italy in a similar fasion.
1st League at Camp Nou, Barcelona
      Barca 4-1 AS Roma
      2nd League in Rome
      AS Roma 3-0 Barca

The context of the first clip: In the champions league knockout stages you have 2 games each round, one at home and one away. This game was a Semi-final, in the first leg at Barcelona's home it was a close game, but Liverpool simply couldn't score and Barcelona managed to get a 3-0 win. That's a lot in football terms, it was almost impossible to revert that in the 2nd game... And to make it worse, Firmino was injured and couldn't play the second game, Mohamed Salah (Liverpool's best player at the time) got injured too and wouldn't be able to play the game either.
The second game was at Liverpool's home, the team needed a 4-0 victory which was almost impossible and the fans made this emotional party, singing this song which says "You'll never walk alone". Game started and Liverpool made 1-0 with Origi, the guy who was basically a meme back then, he replaced Firmino during this game. Then Liverpool lost another player injured, the left back Andy Robertson who was marking Messi, which made the coach sub him off and put the midfielder Gini Wijnaldum (who was the starter but lost his place) during the half time.
A football game is played in 90 minutes, with two halves of 45 minutes each. So after the first 45 minutes they leave the field for a bit and return later to play the 2nd half.
Game restarted to the 2nd half, the final 45 minutes... At 54' Alexander-Arnold, a 20yo local guy from Liverpool, crossed to Wijnaldum, who came from the bench, and scored the 2-0. Then 2 minutes later, at 56 minutes, Shaqiri, the guy who replaced Salah, crossed to Wijnaldum, who scored once again the 3-0. After that, with 11 minutes remaining on the clock, Trent Alexander-Arnold made this genius crossing, noticing that no one was paying attention, and Origi once again scores the 4-0.
Liverpool goes to the final for the second year in a row. The coach was Jurgen Klopp, a great man who made a jaw dropping rebuild on this Liverpool team but simply couldn't win any title... But this time he won it, the biggest of all titles.

One more added infor is the aggregate goals, an away goal is counted as two so if Messi, Suarez and co scored a goal at Anfield Liverpool must score 5 goals to advance which makes even more impossible than it already is!
Liverpool had to play the perfect game by not conceding and scoring 4 goals to advance.
This stuff of miracles only happens with Liverpool

Thiago Silva is one of the best cbs of all time, he was 35 years old at what people thought was his last ever try to win the UCL and he was in tears when he lost the final, a year later he proved to everyone age is just a number and carried on his world class form and won the UCL at Chelsea after changing clubs which at the time was a big underdog in the competition

That game against Spurs from Ajax was the worst and saddest game since 20-30 years. Ajax with a small budget almost got the the champions league finals, and a lot of home grown players. They beat Benfica, Real Madrid, Juventus, 2x draw against Bayern Munchen. With mind blowing attacking football. All the teams from big league's had over 200 mil budgets, Ajax is unique in his kind. One of the great teams in european football, with a attacking style of play.

10:07 it is one of the most painfull moments in my time as a Ajax fan, I still get aggressive when I see the footage and have build a massive hate for tottenham hotspur, even tho they where once a club we were on good terms with. I know we lost because of Lucad Moura’s hattrick but our coach at the time got overconfident during a 2-0 lead and subbed players and after that it totally fell apart. We should’ve been in the ucl final, but it just wasn’t meant to be i quess. ❌❌❌

I think you guys would love to watch some all time great assists compilations, since yall seem to love Messi's and Kevin De Bruyne's passes. Also, a lot of people talk about "legs" in the context of the champions league. It's essentially the same as a series in an nba playoff, where the teams play an equal amount of games at home and away. In the champions league, every round except the final consists of two legs where both games add up in what is referred to as an "aggregate score". So when liverpool lost the first leg to barcelona 3-0 they had to win 4-0 to progress.

With regards to the Liverpool vs Barcelona game. In the champions league knockout stages there are two legs (games) that have to be played. A home game and an away game (the opposition's home turf). Liverpool lost the first game at Barcelona 3-0, but came back to win it on their home soil 4-0. This was especially significant because a team does not usually come back from such a low defecate, particularly against a team like Barcelona. And everyone, including myself, wrote them out of the competition. But they knocked Barcelona out of the Semi-finals and went on to lift the trophy that season, after humiliating Tottenham in the Finals.

2:17 In 2018, Liverpool lost the Champions League final to Real Madrid. The following season, they made it back to the semifinals, against Lionel Messi’s Barcelona. The first leg away in Barcelona, they were battered 3-0, capped off with a incredible 30yd free kick by Messi. What you see in this video is the second leg at home at Anfield. From 3-0 down, they scored 1 back… then halftime, Klopp subs on Wijnaldum who would then score 2 goals to bring the tie level, 3-3 on aggregate. Then Trent Alexander-Arnolds trick play corner kick caught the Barca defenders napping, and Origi scored to make it 4-3 on aggregate, putting Liverpool through to the Champions League final, where they would go on to win the title.
7:47 This was the other semifinal in the 2018/19 season. This game happened one day after Liverpool’s comeback v Barcelona. Ajax hadn’t made it to a Champions League final since 1996. Spurs had never made it to the final in their history. Neither team was expected to make it this far when the season started. Spurs would come back from 3-0 down at halftime in the second leg to 3-3, winning on away goals. Lucas Moura’s winning goal was scored in the last seconds of the game.
The 2018/19 Champions League season would go down in history as one of the greatest of all time, and these games are a big reason why.

In the champions league teams play 2 games to determine who continues. The combined score of the 2 games determines the winner.
Barcelona beat Liverpool 3-0 in the first game and it was pretty much wrapped up because not a lot of people can come back from 3-0 down. In the second game, Liverpool came out swinging and ended up winning 4-0 to advance.

Please react to Joao Cancelo probably the best defender with the ball at he's feet right now. What's crazy is he's a right back but the conditions at he's team make him play left back.
Please please please please please please please

    THE CLIP YOU ALWAYS SEE
In champions leugues you play 1 team twice home and away(2 legs 1st and 2nd leg). So Barcelona had just beat Liverpool in in their home game 3-0.
This means Liverpool needed to score 4 goals in their home game. A task which seemed impossible at the time because Barcelona was just to good. Luckily anyone who plays Liverpool home shakes in their boots because of the atmosphere the fans create for example the chanting. So Liverpool ended up winning 4-0 in a very dramatic game filled with cheeky goals and beautiful football(I suggest you watch the highlights for the game)
And the guy you see Wijnaldum scored twice

Can you do a reaction to “Gareth Bale- most insane skills/speed and goals ever” (the video by TeoCRi HD). He used to be one of the best players in the world and is very entertaining make a good video, he players for Real Madrid and used to play for a team called Tottenham where he broke the record for the most expensive player of all time (at that time), at the time he was more expensive than even Ronaldo’s transfer ti Real Madrid.
