Maybe the key reason GM stopped making the second gen LT1 was because the publicity was terrible for them. They were able to buy the guy out because he was flat broke but they stole his idea and everyone knew at that point because of the lawsuit.

I heard they stopped Reverse Cooling because it was too expensive for mass production. But they brought it back for the latest Gen V.

The creators name was john evans and the reason why chevy stopped using the design was john sued them for using his patent, There ya go now ya know
