Here's a tip : try actually having the light ON for a demo video like this next time.

Is the new s60 pro more of a softer light than this skypanel x with the softest adapter?

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! The SkyPanel Pro is a native soft light, while SkyPanel X can deliver both - native hard and native soft light. The overall size of the aperture is the same as the SkyPanel X with an S60 adapter, so the S60 Pro is not necessarily softer. It is, however, brighter than the SkyPanel X as a soft light. If you want to have a closer look at the technical comparisons, we have a SkyPanel family comparison poster available for download on our website: arri.link/3MMMGN9

@@ARRIChannel skypanel pro is brighter as a soft light even though the skypanel x is 800w and the skypanel pro is 500w ?

SkyPanel S60 Pro is optimized to be a perfect soft light with 20% more output than the Classic S60-C, and yes, it is also brighter than a SkyPanel X as a soft light. This is because the LED selection of the SkyPanel Pro is 100% dedicated to wide-angle soft light, while the LEDs in the SkyPanel X are optimized for both narrow hard light and diffused soft light. So, if you want to be flexible, shoot outside, and maximize output with the HyPer Optic, SkyPanel X is the ideal choice.
