I love Sunset Driver and believed it should’ve been on the OTW album. However, I like Burn This Disco Out, too. It was the end of disco and the beginning of the Thriller era.
Yeah this is a unreleased song that was supposed to be on the off the wall album, or so we all thought. It turns out Sunset driver was a demo for the Thriller album and it's actually on the Thriller 40 album that came out last year. Sunset driver was definitely made during the time he was working on his off the wall album.
This song was released in the nintendo wii game: Michael Jackson - the experience (in 2010). It's really funky, idk why it wasn't enough to get into the OTW album. I would swapp it with the song girlfriend instead. I liked how you react to the instruments man
I believe the thinking behind leaving this off the album was because it was too similar sound/vibe-wise (Off The Wall, Get On The Floor, Burn This Disco Out - which I bloody LOOOOOVE btw!) Though what they should have done was just made every album he ever recorded about 50 tracks long!😂

The sunset driver was a original classic from off the wall and I don't why? It didn't get to released the first half of songs? But I don't really care about it? Ohh yeah!!!! The sunset driver were legitimate and tremendous funkiest and disco bouncing around of the top jam in all time. I love this songs that my favorite is sunset driver(1979) off the wall and got the hots (1983) thriller unreleased album set on both of them on fire!!!! I love you!!!!! Sunset was not released in any studio album but was released on the ultimate collection in 2004 I recommend reacting to got the hots it was an unreleased song from thriller but it was released on thriller 25 japanese edition in 2008
