I've not seen any streamer do an Extract Guide for Tarkov, showing new players where to head and rough landmarks to look out for in maps. As a new player this is my biggest obstacle in the game, PVP/PVE is difficult but not unadaptable whereas extracting is complete foreign to me. I think it would be great to see a "How To" video on this from you because the videos of yours that I've seen have been clear, precise and not vague like the often spouted "Don't get killed and do your tasks" advice of many.
Thats a Great Idea....Look out for more on this soon!!! For now, you can find maps online that mark them pretty clearly. The Tarkov Wiki has a lot of good info. If you have a second monitor, throw a map up on one, and game on the other.
Same location hunting is my most frustrating thing to deal with once I found out all my keybinds combat became a little more simple but moving around the map is difficult af
@@tayahslildaemonthe problem with that is getting to an extract depends on where you are on the map. It’s difficult to make a route to extract on the map because people run all over. The only way to really learn the maps is to play them. I would recommend going offline and having a map pulled up and just exploring and doing some terrain association with what you see and match them to the areas of interest and go from there. I personally did that a few times then would just run the same route in a pmc raid solo and did my best to learn that route safely and without dying too much lol. Then I would pick a different route and do that one. Just keep adding routes eventually you will learn the map and areas of high activity and different ways to either push into those areas or how to pull out depending on how aggressive you want to be. I would mix scav raids in to be aggressive and try and learn the tricks of a map and maybe get out with some goods.

Thanks for the guide. You have an absolutely spiffing moustache going there. I played EFT previously, but wasn't very good and got disheartened running solo all the time and quit. I'll give it another go, I joined the official discord server so hopefully somebody will be willing to sherpa me along. Most raids I die instantly from some kitted out dude before I can even get my bearings. I've played difficult games before now, but EFT feels like the harshest and most unforgiving new player experience I've ever seen. It's not such much a learning curve but a vertical cliff face, with people throwing rocks at you as you try to climb it in your underwear.

If you ever wanna get your scav gear onto your pmc the easiest way is to scav into factory and go into the underground tunnels right away and extract. Free 300 exp and some free gear to use on your pmc or sell it for rubles

It just takes time. Tarkov has a very steep learning curve...but once you get the hang of it, Its a very rewarding game when things go right. why i dont play EFT. it takes a very long time to get into a game. scav's run's are 36min. i remember when they were 15min left. easy most pmc's were gone easy loot what was left. now its pmc's every where scav's shooting scav's.
The thing I hate is how I’m new and get into a game for the first time and somehow I’m supposed to extract and have no idea where the fuck I’m supposed to go! You have no map to know where you are and can’t understand where you need to go. Really annoying

Good guide, the only thing I would've probably added is explaining meds and the health system. Importance of pk:s and heavy bleed stoppers.
