Thank you. No I don't, I bought the mache yellow from lowes in 2022 as plants and kept the corms and I bought the Aviv from a bulb supplier on Etsy but she is sold out of them.
I will be trying to grow some Ranunculus this year, zone 5a and i believe your zone is 5b? I was planning to start them im Feb (which is too early based on some recommendations). Though yours are started in December 😬 Am I already too late or do you grow in a heated space? The timing on these are all over the place that i found :D Thank you
I'm in zone 5b. No you are not too late to plant them. I have more that I will be starting this month. Yes all of my greenhouses are heated but that one with it's design and plastic doesn't get too warm in it. Yes you will get different articles on Ranunculus saying when to plant them. Ranunculus are cool weather plants and they do not do well when it starts to get warmer out. Are you growing yours in a heated greenhouse or outside?
@@carriesgardeningchannel856 Appreciate your reply! I plan to grow outside mainly. I do have unheated glass greenhouse, where I will try to plant a few corms in a pot for a few weeks earlier start as a test, because if anything - I could bring a few pots inside if it threatens to get really cold. My plan was also to pre sprout and then up pot them once, to win a few weeks time and let them grow indoors a tiny bit before moving out permanently
You're welcome! I'm not familiar with growing ranunculus outside or in an unheated greenhouse. I have read and heard that people do cover them with frost coverings.
enjoyed your video, also a Pennsylvania gardener. do you have a preferred supplier for corms?
