Hey, guy who runs this page! Just wanna tell you I super appreciate you keeping all these babies safe and stored in an easily accessible location. I use these for my dnd campaign and it's really useful to have them in one place like this.
"The Road goes ever on and on Out from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, Let others follow it who can! Let them a journey new begin, But I at last with weary feet Will turn towards the lighted inn, My evening-rest and sleep to meet."
A lot of games I played as a child had these sounds, I never realized why they felt so familiar until I stumbled upon an old game and it instantly clicked.
Incredible release; the music is fantastic and enchanting and the accompanying short story was a real pleasure to read. Twenty eight minutes and thirty five seconds in another world not too distant from our own.
I was a bit skeptical at first; the project and album names did nothing for me, they just came across as cheesy. But I am so glad I gave this a chance! This is a memorable, charming dungeon synth album! I'm looking forward to more from Hole Dweller
Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.
would love to sit down and see whoever made this play it live, it would be so beneficial to me, I would fucking love to smash some shit like this on the keyboard, but I don't know where to begin. How do you even learn to play like this? I've been playing keyboard for years, but I'm self-taught and entirely untechnical. I want to know everything behind the production of this. It's smaller in scope compared to some dungeon synth albums, but it evokes every aspect I associate with classic fantasy. It's not sonically the most interesting thing I've ever heard, but this the album I've dreamt about creating. Good job to the creator.
I actually recently discovered this music like a few weeks ago on youtube with grandmas cottage and i love it but i find it really hard to find similar bands cause if you look up dungeon synth you get all these dark satanic looking musical groups..i like the lighter stuff and grandmas cottage is awesome..so nostalgic..i actually wanna start making this type of music on garageband but make it more melodic and more about the songs but ofcourse have an ol sounding production like something from the 1800s…

Love the vibe, but I would have liked the production values to be a bit higher and less lo-fi. I know it's intentional, but you can still strike above 8-bit and keep the vibe.

In a hole in the ground, there lived an 8-bit.
In a hole in the ground, levels are clipped

that's what i use them for, and homework sometimes
Same here!
Yes 1000%. I also use these magical pieces for my D&D campaigns & blasting loudly in my back yard shamelessly while swimming in my pool.
My guy, NOTHING is ever safe on this site.
If you value these media as much as I do, ALWAYS archive it yourself whenever you can. Archive everything.

im almost an old man, and this is my favorite music right now,
You're almost an old man? It's been three years since this comment, are you officially old yet?
Almost
I don't know how I would survive without this youtube channel. This release is incredible.

Wow. Stumbled across this today...how or why did i miss this album?

Even better when you are listening to it under the stars while smoking
Some times ,it's so good it hurts. The magical tunes demand you find the proper atmosphere.
love the lo-fi production
this channel is full of hidden gems... seriously, thank you for the great work, it's incredible one more time
Awesome! "Just let me sit quietly for a moment" to fully appreciate this.
This music feels like home

That`s so perfect! I feel like I`m transported to some place that I already lived.
I know there's an old celtic word that (but I forgot what it is :c)
@@conservfconservfconservfco9496 is already good to know that there is some word for that in Celtic. 😀
great album, love 'Through the Bindbole Wood' especially
very underrated album

Not even close to being underrated though. But yes it's a contender for DS album of the year for sure
definitely touches all the right notes
love how blown out the synths are on this one

Great melodic work/chord progressions.

Beautifull.

Actually learn how to properly play the piano, for starters. Learn some technique from books/videos or a teacher. Read a little music theory as well.
This is amazing
Amazing!!!!
RIP sir Ian Holm
holy god, this is good
So good ...want the tape.send tô me to brasil
Im dying AND THE OLD CURE is this on cd officially released
Hole Synth.
Varg is that you ?
Первая композиция - хороший такой, старый добрый немецкий дарквейв..
I like Dungeon Synth, but a lot of it doesn't do it for me. It's rare that I find something like this that I feel is special amongst its own genre.
True, there is an oversaturation of generic shit within the genre. Probably because it's relatively "cheap" to make. This stands out!

It would be grest to hsve a repo
Probably my favorite dungeon synth I've heard, but why the re-upload?
Re-upload ? I've never uploaded it before.
Thought the same, maybe it was another channel...too lazy to check
@@TheDungeonSynthArchives My mistake, it was another channel. Good to see it get more exposure though!
@@gpietra Yeah, it was Atmospheric Black Metal.
@@Jar12ro Nice music taste!

SNES LOTR anyone? Not the greatest game, but the music was fantastic.
All I am is a man
I want the world in my hands
I hate the beach
But I stand in California with my toes in the sand
Use the sleeves of my sweater
Let's have an adventure
Head in the clouds but my gravity's centered
Touch my neck and I'll touch yours
You in those little high waisted shorts, oh
She knows what I think about
And what I think about
One love, two mouths
One love, one house
No shirt, no blouse
Just us, you find out
Nothing that wouldn't wanna tell you about no
'Cause it's too cold whoa
For you here and now
So let me hold whoa
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater
And if I may just take your breath away
I don't mind if there's not much to say
Sometimes the silence guides our minds to
So move to a place so far away
