Hi that’s great info , I’ve got a Q5 on a 2019 and I need to change the indicator, does the mirror pop out from the bottom as with the older models or do you need to strip the door card out to remove the whole mirror , if so how do you strip the mirror Thanks Si
It’s weird that’s Audi skipped on putting Acoustic cotton in the door panels of the A4/A5 for more sound isolation. Even the A3 has acoustic cotton in the door panels
Hi, I got really confused by the black clips. I’ve managed to undo the first one but could not locate the second one and had to put everything back together. Any help? Appreciate it
Hi; I'm a new subscriber. I have an Audi TT Quattro; but it's not this exact year. However, you have a video posted I was looking for: one without the requirement of removal of just the mirror of itself. I hope your channel continues to thrive. I also turned on All notifications. I'm currently taking notes. I don't know for sure since this is a 2019 Audi RS5 and I own a Audi TT Quattro, but I'm here for learning purposes; I'm guessing you know more than me about Audi's. I'm just here to learn. Thank you for posting a video on how to actually take it all the way off. As an #AudiClubOwner myself, I know that VW and Audi's leave little to no room, and I hate taking out the pins. #Audi.
4:05; I would like to try this myself; but I have a question. I'm positive entirely I can pick the door up without shattering my window. However, I am fortunate and greateful enough to be an Audi Owner, but am entirely too poor to afford a brand new window (or replacement) and if you see this comment before I get an answer or figure it out; is there an option to roll DOWN your window PRIOR to taking the door pannel off? Someone smashed my Driver's Side Mirror; which is why I'm looking this up. I'm going to be super sad if I break my window. If you see this; can you let me know if there's any reason I CANT or SHOULD NOT roll down my window PRIOR to taking off the door pannel? I super don't want to break my window. THANKS. I hope you see this!
I mean you can remove door panel with window rolled down but how are you going to reach to mirror bolts and cables? unless you remove door panel, roll window back up and only then disconnect the door panel. Idk, kinda unnecessary work but its up to you.
those fingers show the craftsmanship, so careful and made the clips look easier than they are..

How did you figure out how to put the wire back in? I’m having trouble with that right now and it’s so stressful
@Yanni Karahalios route it away from the window usually left side, or far right
@@yannikarahalios this was the hardest car for this I've ever done.
@@yannikarahalios it's attached in a zip zag with clips, nylon bands
