Omg finally someone who talks about how bad shoes and socks are. As an autistic person I have only just found shoes that in slightly feel comfortable though I still hate them (i am 16). Also love the video it is amazing❤
People are either the “I hate socks and shoes” autistic person or the “I need socks and shoes” autistic person, although most people are the first one lol I NEED to be wearing socks at all times or I go insane from the lack of sensory control (I need it to be consistent) but often my friends, like you, HATEEEE socks Interesting how much the experiences can differ!

If you are having trouble with socks because of the seams i would recommend turning them inside out! That way when you wear them you wont feel it inside of the socks! As a fellow autistic person (im so sorry i sound weird 😭) i also have problems with sock seams but also need socks on at all times lol but i hope this helps if the seams are the problem ^^
I didn’t notice it until a couple years ago, but whenever people are singing in class, I legitimately can’t stand it most of the time. They’re decent at singing, it just hurts so much and it feels like my head is shrinking in on itself. The only person who I could almost always listen to them sing was my crush at the time
I found the video much relatable , im not diagnosed , but i found myself in the video ,like the struggle with the socks/shoes , the hand flappy's that i use to do when im happy or excited , the drawing and the vocabulary !! I hope u make a part two

I got an iq test and some test like solving a puzzle where someone watches you. I also had a part where someone asks you certain questions like what the connection between a river and a mountain is. The point of these questions is to see how you answer them. That's the point of all these questions as a common autism trait is that you go into detail. Another question is for example what is your morning routine. There were also a couple conversations between the people from there and my parents to see how I was when I was younger. My parents are involved because I'm still younger than 18, I don't know how it works when you're older. I hope this makes things a bit clearer.

A lot of my family members are autistic and I’m so glad you are showing others that there are different effects of autism besides being nonverbal and learning disabilities! Most autistic people are incredibly smart because they don’t understand social cues and focus more on academics instead of socializing! I love this video! ❤️❤️

Idk if you’re aware but when people have autism adhd is guaranteed, so I would get tested for adhd if you haven’t already, but when you have adhd you’re likely to not have autism

shoes, i cling to one pair and until I lose them or they have a mouth (iykyk) i will still use them, even then until the sole is completely off i will use the same shoes. 2 summers ago i finally had to give up on my favorite white boots and i was so upset because id worn them everyday for a little over a year and they just gave out even after hotglue to keep it together, the hotglue made them feel terrible. then mom took me to a shoe store and ive had some nice good quality leather workboots since. theyre comforfable. and whenever i wear otgershoes my feet hurt especially flats with thin soles. i had some blue shoes that I only stopped wearing because they were too small they were heeley's with the wheels removed. baby blue and sparkly i loved them but eventually fhey were too tight, there were some bearable white schoes i wore fter my favorite shoes finally gave out and had to be tossed while we waited fir the shoe shop my mom got her leather workboots at to reopen and i tell you 150$ was worth it because im not giving up my leather boots until they physically cannot be worn
....omg interoception? tahts what its called? anyways so im like very sure i have sum sort of ED because i litterally cannot twll wgen im hungry until im physically pained, im also very bad at measuring how full i am several days ive gons on with just school lunch no dinner. no breakfast just the very small crappy school lunch of the day. it really disconcerting i( think i used the word rigtht too much revelstion goung on rn tocare) and emotions have also always been iffy for me and i realized only recently about half my "im a horrible piece of shit human" outbursts are autistic meltdoowns of the anger, fight, and yell variety. and that no stabbing my bully with pencil in a blacked out blur i dknt remember due to the stress i was under from her stabbing my with a pencil does not make me worthy of death.😄👍

I have it as well but I was young when I got diagnosed so it was much easier lol

ADHD is NOT guaranteed. That would imply that every autistic person has ADHD. Theyre often comorbid, but not guaranteed to occur together
