Can confirm about the ice pack. Broke my leg in a PE lesson, teacher said "She'll be right". Ambulance had to be called, Xray's the next day and found out I had broken my leg. My friend showed the teacher the xrays and he apparently looked really guilty

The problem is the teacher probably brushed it off thinking it was a minor injury and tried to push her to continue when it was a somewhat serious injury. I wanna see you in PE class with a broken leg, Mr. Tough Man. Not only does it suck, but you seriously risk making it worse since I doubt you'll be able to reasonably do all the PE activities on one leg for the entire class.

We never played touch footy, soccer or afl we played all the sports no one liked and would do athletics. Never made sense to me considering we had like 3-4 teachers who were ex league players and played touch, we had multiple soccer players as PE coaches aswell so they really could of made some fun training.
Instead we played weird niche sports so that basically no one had a leg up but the teachers also had 0 clue so the training was boring af. European handball was one that we did for like 3 terms over the space of 4 years because we pretty much said it's the only good sport you've let us play

Once in class I had a serious bloody nose, and when tchr finally sent me to the office, all they did was say “ok just sit in this chair until the bleeding stops” 🤦♀️ and guess what? 35 minutes later and *the bleeding didnt freaking stop* 😂 Had to call my mom & she recommended I ask for some ice and _that’s_ finally what worked. Asked for some advil too, but they refused to give me any because “they can’t hand out drugs.” Overall great school nurse - I give it a 10/10 👍
i can confirm the icepack. i broke my collar in late august 2023 (i said the year incase ur seeing this in like a year after this was posted) and all they did was give me an ice pack.
