No Autotune, no nudity, just raw singing talent and of course a lot of practising. Antonella Ruggiero's voice spans well over 4 octaves, she's one of the finest singing voices that Italy has ever seen. She was a founding member and lead singer of "Matia Bazar" in 1975 and left after 14 years in 1989 to promote her solo career.
Welll... autotune at that time was a thing. And this IS autotune. The performance is exactly the same as in the disc, and there is a double voice when Antonella sing "Mi ami o no", with no choir, and there is the fading of music. So YES, it's autotune.

@@Laurelin70 Non sai che cosé l'autotune, non é l'autotune . Questo é stato introdotto nel 1997 tra l'altro, mentre la canzone è del 1985. E sì la voce é sovrapposta nel mix da Antonella stessa ma la nota più acuta che cantava in live, per non sò quanti secondi, lei la tiene tutta!

@@Laurelin70 Sono gli anni 80, a quei tempi non esistevano tecnologie così avanzate. La youtuber alla fine del brano indica un cambio di chiave in alto, cosa che la Ruggiero riusciva a sostenere anche in live.

ragazzi, non sapete come funzionano questi canali di reazioni varie. Non é che all'improvviso siamo diventati seguitissimi internazionalmente. Questi canali di solito funzionano come juke-box, viene fatto il video a seguito delle richieste e dei like. Se uno di questi youtuber continua a trattare dei cantanti italiani é perché ha avuto richieste da italiani e continuerà con quel filone ma sotto, nei commenti, avrà ancora altri italiani...

Many Other female singers replaced her front woman role afterwards but she is one of the greatest Italian (and I would say world wide ) singer EVER as you can hear . She is a wonder really

Matia Bazar is the name of the group (it means "Crazy Bazar" in genoese dialect) and Antonella is the ONLY voice you're hearing (specially during the 10 seconds high-picth!).
