You mean he played this game well to the strengths of his ship? Not all 'Destroyers' in this game are the same, and lots of them require different playstyles. Your comment seems moot because of that to start with. Also, if you actually payed attention, the reason he didn't continue to use Islands like a proper cap contesting destroyer playing the objectives, was a lack of team support and enemy abundance of hydro and radar. He was forced into a defensive stance on that flank, and while he as a good player did well a less capable player might have been more useful testing if the enemy CV would let him cap the B cap. I rather have players just above mouthbreathing capacity to play to their capabilities, then to encourage them to try and mimic something above their capabilities.
It's really annoying me a bit that all YT uploads seem to be just Twitch clippings where we're trust into an ongoing discussion without any context, and without being able to read the chat for ourselves. If it were possible, just overlay chat during the game if you're not going to narrate your own replays but just taking clips from Twitch? It would be more fun to see, now there is a big disconnect often between what we on YT are able to see and then hear you Trenlass talk about during the video. Btw, love seeing that Shima at the start of the game. Meeting players instead of mouthbreathers should both be refreshing and challenging.
Btw, you're far from as bad as others though, because even during Twitch gameplay you focus a lot on talking about the game ( and the chat interactions are mostly short and not drawn out so probably less annoying then I claim them to be.. I'm probably overly sensitive to them as well, because I think the other parts where you actually talk about the game and your thought process during the games are so good for others to hear.

You were playing way differently in the past. Over last few weeks you just play full on recklessly (often dying, but not caring at all about your health, or preserving it), not concerned about teamplay (just playing for the damage of the moment), score or anything... In comparison to how you played for all those months and years in the past. So don't justify yourself by being "medicore". You just knowingly and purposefully changed the attitude towards the game (into way more careless, reckless and not related to the rest of the team.. ). Be just honest (instead of putting up some smokescree about your skills).
I agree, I love his smart plays not the big damage. He can't be great every game but there were a tonne of mistakes made this game and then blamed other factors.
@@shadowoof6473 I can tell you can use your good concealment and kill an already damaged DD, I used to do this on Shima too. But if you don't have a clear advantage, most DDs can melt Shima. That's why most people fire a couple of salvos and smoke up, because DPM in about 1-2 salvos is really good on Shima.
