the videos help me because you are left handed and I am right handed, I hurt my right arm and cannot hold the paint brush too long. So the left hand is learning to paint now. It works good , very little trouble because I watch your show a lot. Thank-you so much. Bye!!!!!!
I love your tutorial style! I am not sure if it is the way you talk or the way you paint but I am not afraid to fail while following these tutorials. I just did this one amd followed the second follow up tutorial and made one of my favorite paintings so far!!!
Thank you for asking, i would let the dark paint dry first before adding the lighter colors, let each layer dry first, in some cases you can work with the paint wet if you want to blend...
I have a question. I’m lefty . And my whole life with learning art music and everything I was asked if I flipped whatever it was and mirrored it . And with painting realistic stuff lately in videos I’ve struggled. And randomly remembered that question I’ve been asked . So with some things do you think it would be beneficial to mirror the image I attempt when i follow right handed tutorials like the movement of my hand/wrist would be able to follow it the same way instead of going against the grain so to speak. ? Idk
Sounds like a great idea, I never tried it, but I think I will just to see if it is easier to follow, but I don't have a problem following right handed tutorials, I just do what makes me comfortable, if a right handed artist starts on the right I will start on the left, I'm not sure if that is a help, but do things your own way, with experience you will be more comfortable following right or left handed people...Have a great day!!
If you use marker and you don't like the shape you can't erase it, and it may come through the paint, same with pencil, but pencil is easier to cover with paint,,, chalk is best because you can wipe it of with a damp brush, or cloth, or paper towel.
