Never forget the locker trick when you're getting online raided, it takes so long to destroy them when you place them infront of a door, they're spammable and you can buy enough time to put down a new door or block off an open wall if you're good about how you place them. its always good to have a couple of them in a small wooden box on the offchance it happens.

The new SMG is not too shabby for a t1 weapon, less damage than the revolver but definitely easier to aim and spray in a close quarters fight. The SKS though, now that is overpowered, especially with the gas compressor added.
wdym overpowered is the sks not just a skin for the sar unless youre calling the sar overpowered which is stupid

My guess for the riddle, is music.
Music is commonly referenced as a way to 'soothe the savage beast', 'soften' a 'stony heart', or make even the toughest of trees to sway and bend to the sound. Not sure about the seam part though. If I had to guess it would either be a DJ technique where one blends two songs together, which is another tie to music.

The Riddle answer is resources, stone nodes and trees or maybe the critical hits on resources.
Open at the seam refers I think to the critical hits, shiny spot on rocks red x on trees.
The yolk is the resources, wood and stone, to make arrows to "sooth the savage beasts" and tools to better "soften rocks or bend the knotted oak"

@barretdenman2854 I play both. There was an Easter event a while back and they added a musical egg that played music when you opened it and it gave you random loot. Lots of tools and tier 1 weapons and 💩

The answer to the riddle is an elite crate. It opens at the seam, its yolk (insides) makes the savage beast (sweaty bois) happy, and can contain explo or molotovs.
I think the musical egg because when you open it, it soothes the beast, only thing I can remotely think 😂😂

@Ser Winter , Add the muzzle booster, extended magazine and a couple of other gun mods to help with the recoil to make it a more viable gun to go past tier one
fun fact: you can use 14 mollys to go trough a metal embreasure, and you can mine faster whit jacky if you tap it not hold it

Ello Ser Winter, I'd like to get some more information on the new smg, I've done testing with it, especially with the Muzzle Boost, Extended Mag, burst module, and the gas comp overdrive, In my opinion the best attachments to add to this new smg, I'd love to hear or see another video testing these out.
Or maybe any other video using the smg or even the Sks, tier 3 with the attachments above are great, but I'll let you choose which ones to use and favorite.
maybe a muzzle boost, but it's still gonna fall off pretty quick. Could be fun to give a bunch to a 20 man zerg and see if they can take heli.
Winter that 2nd floor at 24:00 above your airlock door on the inside would have been a perfect anti raid ambush spot against live raiders put a turret in the other corner of the room so raiders have to round the corner to see the turret and then defending player fires down from above. reinforce the area outside so that is the only port of possible entry and you cant be rpg'd from below or behind. in this situation the raiders typically cant even peek the turret because you can shoot down on them at them at the same time and if a 2nd person tries to jump out at you the turret kills them being a really good solo player buddy system. Being that you had another door up there it could be good for a duo as well increasing the angle raiders have to deal with as they walk into the kill box. I have made a lot of bases like this that have entrances that go to nowhere but a kill box and passages to my loot rooms are hidden outside away from rooms that are inescapable but the way in once raided in the traditional method. having marked bags in areas around the base make it easier to navigate and making sure your base entrance is never connected to the rest of the loot in your base by way of a simple doorway is a big insurance on the livelihood that even in a offline raid the raiders may never find your loot. Let your enemies know you're not trapped in there with them, they are trapped in there with you.

I think xterm smg is a great tier 1 weapon it used to be the nail gun to full back on to get to tier 2 but smg all though against armored players it's a great update

I think even with the low damage vs bows and revolver its still too much power for tier 1, no one else has a chance tier 1 under and the moment people start having tier 2 its almosty useless, but start of wipe you literally mow down everyone if you have enough bullets, I think nailgun was enough because it has low range

I hate the new gun man. At any more than like 20 meters its basically useless because of the incredibly slow velocity. I guess its only meant to be viable early game so it makes sense

I think an easy solution is to pair this gun with the crossbow.
You open with a crossbow shot and then you finish with an SMG spray.
Sure, any tier 2 gun will outclass it but at least it gives solos a chance when getting pushed.

for the price the t1 smg is pretty much gonna displace the Revo imo. It is the perfect weapon for countering DBs/bows. If you're fighting geared guys take a DB. I don't see much use in the revo except for its cheaper scrap price at this point.

But how does the recoil impulse feel? I like the slower rate of fire, mostly for the m-1" grease gun" sound. But how did it preform vs the custom smg, or the Thomson? Nevermind...I asked the question at the 40 minute mark..you answered the questions lol
