😝😆😂😂😂😆😝 This doesn’t sound like hunting, this sounds like the military calling in an air strike. You’ve got serious “Hunting” issues if you WANT to take shots at over 1,000 yards.
@@borninabarnoutdoors1354 Yeah sure lets hear more of your lies. Go buy a range finder then start looking at how far 1050 yards really is. I also from a young age and 64 years old have been hunting the Nothern Oregon coast for Roosevelt Elk and they sure don't look that size at 1050 yards. I also own a Leupold range finder.
I don’t believe you on 1050😂…not for a second. Secondly that is a tiny rag horn. Thirdly, did I hear someone suggest someone other than the hunter with the tag take shots at this rag horn?😂. Weak!!!
How the fuck was it unethical? It ran the typical 20 to hundred yards from a lung shot...are you such a city idiot you think that they aim for the head?
If you don't know if you hit em your doing something wrong. These guys are as clueless as they come. Maybe they get off on it? I know old guys that do who always take the shot.
Either the camera was on Highest power setting or just lying how far that Elk was. I am 64-year-old so from Childhood my family and I have been NW Oregon Roosevelt Elk hunters and places I know that are 1000 yards over canyons Elk look like a spot with the eye and even on my 6.5x20 Leupold scope Elk @ 1000 don't look that size .
I completely understand but technology has came a long way we use a sig sauer Oscar 8 spotting scope 55x zoom with magview phone mount on cell phone its incredible what you can zoom in on.
@@borninabarnoutdoors1354 You won't ever get me to believe that Elk was 1000 yards and these biggest lies told on gun videos is shooting 1000 yards --- at least 3 times a month I am in the area of Cook creek or on the ridges overlooking the Jewl Elk game refuse that runs along Beneke creek I am at the tops of ridges where all is seen is massive canyons that run for miles. I am doing eliminating of coyotes that run-in packs taking down deer and Elk by using a FoxPro caller. As I wrote before use a Leupold range finder and a custom Mauser 98 in 300 Wby magnum with a Leupold 6.5x20 scope. Even with this set up shooting 1000 yards at Roosevelt Elk is nuts because 30 caliber is just too small caliber and weak by the time it reaches the 1000-yard mark for sure kills of these largest of all Elk. You can do as you like but do I believe you NO. Just so you know never pass up killing coyotes on site - on the FoxPro called the best calls to bring in coyotes is calf elk and deer fawn in distress and since the first of the year I've killed 3 coyotes in packs of 8 to 10 of them with Elk fur and meat in their guts. The worst Elk killing Coyotes I found over the years live around the Jewl Elk game refuge and around the HWY 26 rest stop.
I hope this makes you happy. Hopin and pokin !

I keep looking for vapor trail but not seeing it and impact seems to quick, maybe 350 yards?
It was 1050

That’s not hunting at all. Just laziness & not have any respect for the animal.
It is fair game so it is an ethical way of hunting
keep on crying not like you can do anything about it 🤣🤣🤣
Unethical shot. Shame on yall.
cry about it, you cant do a thing about it either🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@unstopable180 I mean it is unethical. There’s no argument. You should be embarrassed

Exactly!

Lucky as shit when him starting walking. Pathetic excuse to take these shots.

Nice shot as someone who put 100s of hours into shooting long, i know what it takes.....1000yds while impressive isnt as nuts with todays kit....

LMAO. But bullshit on the 1050 tho.
Why bs on the range
@@borninabarnoutdoors1354 If you know your holds for that range and round, and know the shot placement, it's a good shot in my eyes. 👍
1000 yards is not hunting, get under 400 yards even 300 yards. Stop just launching long range and praying you hit.
yikes
learn how to hunt
What do you suggest
Anything over 400 yards is just lazy and unethical.
And just think this is the best video they have to post, imagine the other shit shows they have
