I read for the wolf when it first came out. Idk if I just didn’t understand it but I really didn’t like the story line and I was really confused the whole time. It had good vibes but I wish I was able to follow the story better. Maybe I missed a page or something lol

I’m really glad you had an amazing Christmas and I hope 2024 brings nothing but love and joy to you ❤ I’m really excited to read Things We Never Got Over and the rest of the series hopefully this year (my TBR is ridiculous so who knows 😂) I’ve heard good things. I love the US editions of Emily Henry’s books so much 😍 I liked the UK edition of Happy Place but I’ve preferred the US editions of all of her other books. I’ve heard mixed things about For the Wolf and its sequel but I still want to read it because it sounds really good. I put I Who Have Never Known Men on my TBR after Fleur recommended it because you can never go wrong with a Fleur recommendation 😂 I still need to read Under the Whispering Door and In the Lives of Puppets by T.J. Klune, I also have a couple of books in the Wolfsong series on my kindle, I love his writing so much and his covers are always stunning like you said. Daisy Jones and the Six AHHHH one of my absolute favourites 😍 I’m a massive Fleetwood Mac fan so I was instantly obsessed 😂 the show is so bad honestly, it’s hardly like the book at all and I couldn’t get past the first couple of episodes. Vicious is another one of my absolute favourites, it’s not in the same universe as A Darker Shade of Magic, I think the only book set in that universe is The Fragile Threads of Power 😊 Vengeful isn’t as great but I still enjoyed it! In my Dreams I Hold a Knife is another favourite (you’re hauling all of my favourites 😍😍) I know it’s not for everyone but I loved it. I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve read by Silvia Moreno Garcia so far, she has a really great writing style and her books always have such interesting premises. I’ve heard so many mixed things about The Only Good Indians, I’m really excited to read it. I can’t even write the word but those things you were talking about from Native American Folklore scare the absolute crap out of me as well. One of my friends is absolutely convinced that he saw one and it creeps me out. I read Stolen Tongues by Felix Blackwell which was about them and that was TERRIFYING. I am so excited to read the Chestnut Springs series, Haley has been really hyping them up! I bought the whole series for my birthday and then pre-ordered the fifth book 😍 the indie covers are so beautiful, I just have the UK editions which are still pretty in my opinion.
