FIRST SINGER FROM KAZAKHSTAN, BECOME LEGEND AND WORLD STAR
- Dimash Kudaibergen was born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, on May 24, 1994.
- Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and now studies in the master's degree of the university in the class "Composition"
- Sings in genres: pop, rock, classics, crossover (neo-classics), folklore, rap, jazz.

- June 29, 2019 - solo concert called ARNAU, which was held in Kazakhstan, in the city of Nur Sultan. It was a magnificent world-class concert (45,000 spectators).
- July 14, 2019 - China released the first SD disc - Album of 11 songs called "iD". 37 seconds after its launch, the album went platinum, 1 hour later, the album was certified triple platinum.
- August 24-30, 2019 - New Wave Festival in Sochi, Russia.
- November 29, 2019 - solo concert called ARNAU in St. Petersburg with a sold-out with great success (12,000 spectators)
- December 10, 2019 - solo concert called ARNAU in New York. It was a sold-out and with great success (19 thousand spectators).

@@lupitagallego375 The fact that Dimash is almost completely unknown in many countries including the USA is hard to understand. There are many singers far more well known, but with much less talent. However I now believe that it is inevitable that within the next few years he will indeed become the most famous name in world music. I also believe he will go down in history as one of the greatest music artists of all time. 😊🏴👍

This was the first night of the Chinese competition show - The Singer - in 2017. Generally only accomplished Chinese singers were invited to compete. But as Dimash had won several Kazakhstan contests, he was invited to compete. As his first performance and being an unknown, the audience was advised in advance by the producers to applaud and give him a warm welcome to the stage. By the end of the song, they were applauding and cheering for real. He took first place for that night's competition. As Phil Harris indicated below, he had 600 million hits on Weibo the next day... and the rest, as they say is history.

He is a vocally insane
This was a chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only foreign singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan is 6ft 3, 1/4 and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. He is now a world class artist, still just turned 26 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, (on hold until next year due to covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to persue his own musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist and also sings in 12 different languages he speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. He is kind, humble, generous and modest, a very elegant, well bought up young man. His Dears are his very loyal fans and we number over 70 fan clubs in 120 countries globally and number in the millions, he calls us Dears because we are so dear to him. Greetings to the owner and guests of this channel…! And to all the personnel’s who worked with artists, and all others who did the translation, produced videos and uploaded it on line. My heartfelt gratitude to the reactors worldwide and commentators of this channel for your great help and service, so that artists can improve and or develop their talents and gifts at their best in order to serve better the listening public.
I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition.
The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope his viewers worldwide especially the young will learn something from his optimistic views in pursuing his professional fields to the optimum level, his confidence, creativity and perseverance. His labors and hard work are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and to his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the content of its music.
The power and beauty of his voice is so incredible even at his lowest and highest notes. Also the fact that, he is able to sing his music at maximum or more than 6 octaves with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said oooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..?
I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and I’m convinced that Dimash 20 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proves it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible.
My other concerns whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..?
Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it.
With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me.
My great apology to the readers for this lengthy piece. If you think this is all helpful you can share it to the general public as you please, I do really appreciate it. SONG OF DIMASH IN FRENCH “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song: I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death)
STORY BEHIND THE SONG: The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania, and was originally sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. That is why this song is sad, mention in some of the lyrics…A soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress. .
Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith.
For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discern well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity or a means of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with great humility and discernment.
Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God.
Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth” Saint Paul reminded us that “ our present sufferings are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later.
Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it in reality and personally, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and experience suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but it is part of the reality of our human lives now.
Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless.
If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life, if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we died reconciled with God and at peace with others.
Death is the end of our earthly life. Our lives are measured by time, as with all other living beings on earth. Since it is unknown to all of us, the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times, otherwise we are being caught by surprise of not being ready when God comes to take us to be with Him forever in our eternal home in bliss.

Ryan, I had just seen you for the first time (my first time watching you do a reaction. I LOVE seeing the reaction of someone who totally experiences Dimash. I guess you know you're one of his "Dears" (what he calls his fans.) I don't know if you're aware of what an amazing PERSON he is, for he's as much loved for his endearing character as for his voice. Yes, he really is that nice a person---adoring son to his parents and brother to his 2 siblings, intensely honest and kind, with such a sweet=natured personality that he never complains, always works HARD, and is always trying to think of new ways to show his love for his fans. And none of it is fake. He also is humble, and so grateful for all his gifts, he feels he owes it to us, to share those gifts. My suggestion for another song you might not have tried, is "Sinful Passion", and another is "Love is like a Dream." In the latter one, about 2/3 if the way through, it seems like you see him literally turn into an angel, and the short passage that goes along with it, is totally like HEARING an angel. I hope I see those reactions coming up soon. Thank you for your very impressive work.
This is exactly how I felt when I first listened to this song as well. Speechless & emotional. I had to look up more of his live performances and became a big fan fast! Curiosity forced me to look up the translation of the French lyrics, and not surprisingly, it was a sad one. Amazing how I could feel the correct emotion without understanding any words during the performance.
