    This verdict is NOT a setback for the victims of DV. This in fact is a step in right direction that men can be victims of DV. We belive all victims but not the person who lies.

      Here, here so right. People of DV stand together against their abuser. We need to listen to both sides before making judgements. Quote from JD, "Guilty until proven innocent."
      This is the sad reality and technology had made it worse. Uneducated people of situations make what other's say true and jump on cancel culture band wagon.

      In closings, after Ben chew said johnny didn't care about the money, that he just wanted to clear his name, Elaine had to do damage control and say they weren't really asking for 100M. I think that was also one of the reasons she lost her case. Amber kept the 7M from the divorce and didn't donate it to charity, that made her intentions a lot clearer to the jury.

    This is a huge win for survivors of DV, the abuser lost. She wasn’t able to manipulate the jurors with her vindictive words and faux descriptions of heinous crime scenes that never took place. Only in her sick NPD brain has she convinced herself of those things, and her poor sister is too scared to tell her it never happened. I’m so incredibly happy for Johnny Depp, a win for him is a win for survivors of DV, men and women, everywhere!! That Teardbag represents NO ONE! Interesting you mentioned NPD. I also think she has narcissistic personality disorder aside from borderline and histrionic personality disorders. The media keeps bringing up the United Kingdom case where JD lost. The fact is JD sued a newspaper, The Sun, and not Heard. And the judge's son worked for the sister company, Talk radio, so should have recused himself. The judge resigned the day after the trial ended.

    I'd say top 3 win has to include the testimony that she thinks pledge and donation are synonymous. Also, looking at the jury throughout her testimony definitely made the jurors uncomfortable to the point where she lost a lot of credibility.

      I agree with both of your points. And the reason the first is so important is that if this person creates their own meaning of words (using the words" pledge" and "give" synonymously) it makes it easier for her to lie about everything she's asked. And does she actually think the jury or the public was going to respond "Oh, okay Amber. That's fair. Honestly, lying on tv about donating money to a children's hospital!

    Camille was smart in letting AH run-on, get angry and flippant on the stand, allowing her to admit that’s why she wrote the op-ed about JD yet Elaine is doing the media circuit still denying it was about him - how AH spoke with Camille was reminiscent of how she spoke to JD on the audio recordings AH herself recorded and leaked 5-6 years ago…. She dared him, just expecting money to go away but never thought he would be willing to bear himself, every wart and skeleton to the world to defend himself against what she claimed. The underbelly of this and her intentions seem obvious from the start - someone pointed out that in the ice cream pic one those special effect bruise kits to paint on bruises was on the floor near her purse…. So many small details we can all go back and see now, hindsight being 20/20 that are essentially Easter eggs AH left behind, that seem inconsequential but connect dots to her motivations. Heck Josh Drew even said at least upward of 30 late night visitors (just what we knew of and saw) of her cheating continually on “the man she loved” - he was a mark, a goal to obtain what she wanted infamy, fame, fortune and a career that perhaps couldn’t have been achieved without him.

In the end, all she did was prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that JD wasn't the abuser but she was and what a sick, toxic and foolish wretch she truly is. I don't go for this broadcast trial stuff but this was just too entertaining. It was interesting that Heard's lawyers constantly interrupted him, while Depp's lawyers just let her talk and talk. Good case study for law students on testifying prep.

  • @Suedetussy
    @Suedetussy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +82

    Actually, a top reason was that she was always talking to the jury while answering the lawyer‘s questions. It confused me from the very beginning and until now i can’t get used to this.
    As a jury member i would feel extremely uncomfortable and intruded if she would look at me directly. I‘d want to observe and make my own judgment in peace and quiet, instead of being pulled into her experiences. It’s manipulative.
    So many people felt like that, too. Doesn’t she or her team understand that collective response and stop that strategy during the trial?

      I'm guessing that probably being so insanely narcissistic, she couldn't change her instinct to give a "performance" since she truly feels she's at the center of the universe

      I wonder ... all of Amber's witnesses did that too, looking at the jury rather frequently... did she or her team of lawyers tell all their witnesses to do that?

    • @dinghanxue704
      @dinghanxue704 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, it’s reasonable to guess that she chose her legal team, which means the legal team members were fully filtered to her taste. This could partially explain their incompetence. Second, maybe they think if the jury were allowed to calmly think about the facts that were clear and straightforward, their inevitable defeat would come sooner than they expected

    • @MsTeeweetea
      @MsTeeweetea 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In some jurisdictions (like the British system), the old form of courtesy was to reply to the Judge (in this case the jury is the judge of the facts). Hwv this practice has been mostly done away with n rarely insisted upon

    • @citadelofwinds1564
      @citadelofwinds1564 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      She was literally performing to the jury - and checking their reactions. Anyone working this hard to convince people is almost certainly a liar or has some agenda. The sheet weight of evidence from the trial proved her a liar, over and over and over again. The jury saw through the lies and performances. Justice was served.

    It's so simple. When he speaks, you can hear that it's the truth. When she speaks, all she is doing is stringing together words that she hopes will strike you as the truth but which are actually as empty as her eyes are empty of tears.

    Looking back to the beginning of this trial and way before that. I feel his BIGGEST win was simply coming to trial to give himself and his family a chance to live, because the place they were in was worse than death. The truth won, but what Johnny did was more phenomenal. Doing something no matter how hard, no matter how tough, no matter the odds is what winners do! Fight for the truth.

    Amber Heard's statement following the jury decision is an example of pure "hate" and "delusion" and a testimony to Dr. Curry's description of her psychosis. In contrast, was Johnny's statement which was pure class - hope he is invited to host the Oscars next year. Amber Heard gives new meaning to the term Bat$hit Crazy and adds a new dimension to the warning "Amber Alert" ...💥💥💥

    • @citadelofwinds1564
      @citadelofwinds1564 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good points. The term amber alert may well serve to remind people of her behaviour, so when they come across someone like her they will recognise they are dealing with a narcissist. A likely abuser. And a probable psychopath.

    Amber: “I have seen people do this time and time again…” I wish Camille would’ve hit her with Ms. Heard this isn’t a movie, this is real life with real consequences. Amber lost her train of thought real quick after Camile mentioned jail time 😂

    Like shown in the video, Morgan Tremaine's and Kate's testimony were important but many people are shocked most about the audio tapes. I myself am shocked most about the tampered evidence (the edited = filtered) photos without meta data, which weren't consistent at all with her testimony.

In fact, everytime i go anywhere NEAR a staircase, i look around to make SURE neither Kate nor Johnny are anywhere near me, before proceeding down. Every staircase... it has literally ruined my life... I wrote an Op-Ed about it, entiled "Why Aren't There More Escalators?"...

    The real win For Depp was about an hour or an hour and twenty minutes into Heards testimony when she started delivering the most emotionally fake gestures and facial expressions and tone ever to be forced through a human being in the history of live television...But it was so difficult to watch that no one ever plays it over in their clips...I never thought someone could lie so obviously that the resulting tension in the listener caused goose bumps, and it was compounded by the fact that for the first hour she managed to seem relatively credible.
