Remember people, it doesn't matter where you learn what you learn. Results are the only meaningful truths. Will you be able to provide something to the company you wanna work for, by studying through Coursera ( or any platform for that matter )? If the answer is yes, and if Coursera is what would motivate you and help you to study, then that is your path to success. Always use what you feel motivated by ( but also be mindful of scams, obviously coursera is not a scam ).
If you're open to feedback, I found the music very distracting - the volume was a factor, but mainly the beat itself wasn't particularly relaxing or easy to ignore. Something slower and quieter works better in my opinion. Thank you for the video regardless

That’s how the sound feels like, I keep focusing on your voice since I’m interested in what you’re saying but the sound gets mixed in, it doesn’t blend well with your calming voice and it’s distracting. It depends. If you have plenty of time and determination to finish many courses, the plus is worth it. Although I am determined, but I don't have much time. I can only finish one course a month. What I did is to apply financial aid and I am only paying for 5 bucks per course. Still you can never go wrong for investing in your learning.

I assume so as even if you just go for the google ones the Coursea platform is also affiliated with universities even on the "Ivy" tier. That should hold SOME weight. Especially in this economy. If you do land an interview it's then up to you but I do think the certs should help you get your foot in the door.

I haven't seen the payment structure you're talking about. If you have coursera plus, you will get a certificate upon successful completion of the course. So, no, you will not need to pay an additional fee to get a certificate for the course you successfully complete if you have coursera plus.

You are searching for miracles, there are many schools out there who say that they can offer you assistance in finding a job, its based on bs. Take your courses and add them up only add the ones that are needed, and you have to sell your self in a interview to get the job no one else can do it for you What kind of job do you want I will tell the basic skill set you need and which courses you should take.
No, please don't buy this shit. Coursera is truly a terrible platform for learning. I regret buying a 1-year subscription. One of the most frustrating things is the peer review trolling.
@@alvinthepmofficial Well, it's hard to explain, but in general, for newbies who don't know everything, it's able to build a foundation. However, one of the most terrible features you will encounter is peer-review grading. If I'm lucky, I only get trolled two or three times, which means that it always happens that one person will give you the maximum points, and another will give you zero points, even if you are right. This can lead to failing that part, causing you to be late in achieving the certificate. This makes me so angry. If I'm not lucky, I need to resubmit many times to pass this.

That is separate and from a different entity
The PMP is a separate certification that you study and take through an organization called PMI (Project Management Institute).

I just want to warn everyone that I paid $100 USD out of pocket for an amazon certificate that I passed the test for and obtained and still have not received any difference in job applications in job application responses or oppurtinities.
From course era? Do you have a college degree ? I’m looking to learn coding and thought that I could use this to give prospective employers some sort of credential.
Also what kind of Amazon certificate did you do?

Yes, if you get the Coursera Plus option, you will have access to get the Certificates for each course you take through Coursera.
