As a middle class South African, I suggest the government to look for unused land in the outskirts of the cities and divide it into large stands for people to purchase at a low price and build their own houses, shops and overtime new communities. True not everyone wants to farm, but not everyone wants to stay in a shack or an apartment either. The 'old money' is being used to keep the bond market expensive. So in someway a compromise must be reached, the state unfortunately needs to buy the land under the condition of proof of plan, but the seller can't say no, unfortunately unless they prove that substantial economic value is being delivered from that land.
My question is, for those who sell the land, did they buy it themselves, NO !!! the land was disposessed from black people and must be returned without conditions , Period, revolution for land must be avoided.
Well unfortunately giving people land in the outskirts will not solve any issues. Will they be able to build houses ? Probably, but services will still be a huge problem. Moreover, developing an area and building shops etc takes time, especially under this uncaring government. Hence people choose to go to the urban areas and buy in those areas which are over populated and expensive. Developers have become clever and are selling services, security amenities and not space and people buy. Also today’s generation is all about looks. They don’t care about land.
Can you prove EFF will be the first to take the land and run them down due the lack of skills...no one born as farmer everything in world we learn and practice and get skilled not over night, can't be right undermining ourselves that low society...you're middle class because you went to school and see things differently...we can't ignore the land question.

The word fair comes as a shock to white people in Africa what makes me upset is rhey act naive to what their people did to uptain this land and power, Cape Town was stolen and held hostage as well as the rights of black people who once lived there. Zimbabwe was sabotage and sanctioned to the point innocent people suffered extremely. The panel will not admit this just like the Europeans who comment on this video.
Ppl really believe land ownership is on the cards for SA - with no viable plan or proper structures to facilitate it? Are there proper structures for the NHI bill, or was there any plan or structures created to keep eskom going? Does it look like it? If redistributing millions of ha's of land is a wishy washy affair, with the political elite taking prime premises + lease what's left to the people, SA is heading for a Zim situation - only it will be much worse if they care to compare just the size of the 2 populations. The lack of a proper land reform plan is just 1 of the many plans needed. What abt how to feed a population of +60mill + 10 or 20 mill illegals till + if food production is up + running after expropriation? How will all agricultural related industries adjust to support new land owners, if they don't know where gov is heading ? It involves commercial agricultural corporations, commercial banks, the land bank, farm equipment manufacturers, seed + fertiliser distributors - not so it seems according to the anorexic structures mentioned in the little info the anc made available so far. Time is running out for the anc + for SA, bcse less than 1mill white farmers simply will not be able to keep on feeding a rapidly growing population for ever. Why is the anc reluctant to kick this enormous endeavor off? They know the plans up their sleeve are not abt ownership. It cannot secure food production for predicted population growth + they probably have been warned by the big money lenders the plans they have will be a failure like none of their other failures - they will not invest in chaos, because it will make Zim look like a Sunday school picnic. They also know rectifying mistakes will be an even greater challenge. It's 40 yrs after zim EWC - SA feeds the bulk of its population as illegals + there's no plan to rectify their wrongs. Zim the former bread basket of Africa still cannot feed what's left of its population. Its time to learn from how other countries did it, to eliminate pit falls, not to re-invent the wheel all over again + to tell SA abt it. Not a single interview re EWC have touched on any of these practical + lack of proper plans + structures challenges or how the final geopolitical picture will look like? Time to start wondering why?

Hence people choose to go to the urban areas and buy in those areas which are over populated and expensive. Developers have become clever and are selling services, security amenities and not space and people buy. Also today’s generation is all about looks. They don’t care about land.
Can you prove EFF will be the first to take the land and run them down due the lack of skills...no one born as farmer everything in world we learn and practice and get skilled not over night, can't be right undermining ourselves that low society...you're middle class because you went to school and see things differently...we can't ignore the land question.

why hasn't he instituted a land claim which has been the case over the last 30 years?
@@nedor64 🤔🤔😂😂.

How did Whites sail all the way here, uninvited,to """own land???"""
How did Whites get to own the majority of South Africa's most productive farmland by being forced off ""their land,''''as you out it,in Africa.
It's precisely this sense of White privilege and entitlement that is the issue in South Africa.
That, and our corrupt, ineffective and incompetent government.
The late archbishop Desmond Tutu was right when her once stated that the ANC stopped the gravy train just long enough,so that they could jump onto it.

Talk EFF,walk DA!!,I like that line
Say again???
Having watched Mac G's Podcast with John Steenhuisen on TH-cam where land reform is discussed in some detail, the DA is by far the best choice!
We shouldn't be still talking about land if it wasn't the first ANC NEC after they sold during CODESA. They were completely out thought by just merely being dangled FAT carrots, and all of them were involved.

?
Expropriation of South African land without compensation for equal redistribution.
EFF
Comrades first
@@neilvan3779Listen carefully black South Africans - these white people will keep dilly dallying forever like they did in Zimbabwe, until the Zimbabwean people - not the government took matters into their own hands. Remember ownership is 90% of the Law! You need to separate OWNERSHIP and USAGE. Once you establish ownership, what you do with it is your business. Why do you allow these white thieves into discussion about YOUR LAND? What do you really expect them to say? It is none of their business. A thief may not continue to have a say about your property when you get it back, surely!?
Do you know that the DA routinely hands out Title Deeds ( real ownership) to poor people to land/ properties in places where the DA governs with a majority?
This gives poor people an asset that they can use to further their own personal interests and also pass on to their heirs when they die. This creates generational wealth for poor people!
This is way better than the State owning all the land in SA, which doesn't really benefit the individual at all!!
The most successful land reform in SA is currently happening in the Western Cape!!
@@tonitappous2422 Ah, that would be the DA that is so determined to bring back apartheid through the back door? Lol .
But still you are lying about the land. Provincial governments don't have eminent domain over land, only the national government has the power to give title deeds.
We once again call on the ANC to complete that revolution by repossessing our ancestral lands without compensation at long last. Afterall, why would you compensate thieves for your own property??
@@dingahaban2288 Having watched Mac G's Podcast with John Steenhuisen on TH-cam, I am being honest with you!
I only post truthful comments on a public platform!
ANC is not bold enough to deal with this matter, it keeps on going on through 5 year terms of different Presidents without any solution. EFF manifesto states clearly that it will not transfer the land to the rightful owners but it will take to the State. This's not the solution we're looking for.
Your statement is not complete. The manifesto explains the part of how it will then be distributed. The question of distribution is actually explained.
What's your proposal then. Do you know which land is yours?
Manifesto says land expropriation without compensation for equal redistribution (EEF)
But the problem with giving land to black people, is that most of them will sell it back to Boers....so you need to be very careful...the EFF is right...the state should own land....the people are the state at the end of the day....
@@TenantShai-lh8qx If all the land in SA is owned by the State, then the individual will legally have to apply for permission to use the land for a specified period, either in the form of a license or a lease. These both have financial implications for the individual!

The EFF is in power next year and we will fix the land problem!!,because we really need our land back!
The EFF are communists, land won't be owned by the but by the government so this means one thing the government owes trillions of dollars and the land will be the only asset to settle the debt
will the EFF be nationalising all land? including private property, such as apartments and townhouses, in cities?
@@lm_b5080 Go to the EFF‘s website and read their Manifesto!,it’s all written in fine detail to how land expropriation without compensation will be implemented,it’s a well thought through document but the short answer is yes !,all of South Africans land will be under the custodian of the State!,obviously not your property(house, apartment,Hut,Farm and so on)but the land it sits on!

This will be a thorn on South Africa’s side for many many years to come. The current government. Has finally failed at length in many things including land reform. This only makes things difficult for whoever will try to implement the reform as there will always be victims when taking/purchasing from one to give to another.
Having watched Mac G's Podcast with John Steenhuisen on TH-cam, there is a much better and much easier way!
The most successful land reform in SA is currently happening in the Western Cape!
The actions of colonizers and apartheid laws is not the fault of black people, white people put in place these unbalanced act, now they must be undone so the once poverty stricken people can have fair access to home ownership.
Oh Yes the professor said it right... "The ANC talk like EFF but walks like DA when it comes to the Land issue" Adv Ngcukayitobi said it well, "the ANC had a mandate through the constitution to attend to the Land matter and enforce the redistribution of Land to the people"
Molotlhanyi claim has being ignored it is disappointing and claimants are dying. It Blauwboskuil claim in the North West, Dr Kenneth Kaunda District. Can the panelists kindly assist.
