      女孩(nühai like new hi) is standard Mandarin pronouncation. But in the Beijing and Northern China they add 儿 to certain words so it's 女孩儿 (Nühai'er sounds like New Hawr.) It's called 儿话,儿话音, or 北京话。Look it up for more information.

      If she did the video would be longer. Believe me as your Chinese grows you will understand most of what she says. It is a vocabulary issue not a speed issue. If you can't figure out the meaning of a particular word no matter how slow you won't be able to figure it out. Let's keep learning.

    • @trommelbiel
      @trommelbiel 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kylie Wu Everybody learns Chinese differently. When I started the language sounded impossible. I stopped until I spoke Chinese with one of my Chinese friends who encouraged me to keep learning and I am happy I took that advice. One year later I was able to understand the daily conversations. I studied daily mainly on you tube. After some time you might need to buy well prepared courses. Nothing good is free. Only God gives free stuff.
      Initially just browse through different you tube channels and keep learning. As you grow you will know which channel is best for you and if they have paid courses. I personally find this channel to be one if the best.
      I have not yet bought their premium courses but I intend to.
