My answer is that cells inside of the spherical ball would have a hard time receiving nutrients from the surrounding fluid, excrete waste, and exchange gases. and blastulation fixes this problem by increases the surface area to volume ratio as well as exposing cells to outside fluid.

In case, a cell separates, that cell can form another morula, thus forming twins (identical /unidentical) rarely! :)
If the first mitosis division doesn't happen until 30 hours after fertilization and the next few mitotic divisions take their time as well, how do you refer to that as "very rapid" mitotic divisions.
16-58 is considered a morula, since a blastocyst is defined as 58. So that assumes that 16 cells up to 58 is called a morula. They undergo mitosis, so from 1 cell to 2 to 4 to 16 to 32. 16 and 32 both are called morula. Don't watch a whole video and take away one thing to criticize and leave a one sentence comment to just call that thing out Source is my med school notes, which I trust lol
