Thanks for sharing this awesome technique! Will you able to create a tutorial on how to create alcohol ink painting effect? Thanks

This was really really great and helpful, thank you soOo much! I just tried to create mine and I was successful! I just have 2 questions! What version are you using? I use CS6 and I don't see the "smoothing" while using a brush. And second question is that what kind of brush you are using that has a sharp point?! I really need a brush with 2 sharp points! Thank you again for your wonderful tutorial ❤️

how do you save this as a template so you dont have to re make this every time you want to make a mandala? if i exit out and reload it again, the changes i make to the slice do not transfer to the mandala any more

Thanks for this! how do you remove the grey, once you have made your mandala?

You can just turn off the visibility of the grey layer when you're done.

Very helpful but my computer adu=io is set at 100 and YT at max--still hard to hear you. Thanks. Probably no use re-recording so I'll have a look at newer ones.

Really appreciate the tutorial, thank you ! I'm using your method to design a 4m circle mandala, I've followed instructions but despite modifying and expanding the segment I still appear to have gaps - Is this because the document is so large ? Should I up the pixels when expanding ? I tried expanding by 50 pixels but it doesn't seem to alter the gap problem - Would really appreciate some guidance ! Thanks in advance :-)

I experience this sometimes too, I haven't really found a solution yet. I think it's just the nature of the beast with PS not being as accurate as Illustrator. I've found it less time consuming to just touch it up after you've flattened everything.

Thanks Glen, I found that some of the 'pies' crossed over too, but trust I can alter this too when flattened.

I've always heard it manDAHla when referring to these designs, never MANduhluh. Thanks for the tute!! Very helpful.

In Sanskrit there is no sound of the "a" that sounds like that "a" in the word "man". And even the way the word Sanskrit itself is pronounced in the western world in incorrect given there is no "a" sound that sounds like the way the "a" sounds in the word "man". It was actually really hard for me to hear it pronounced the way you have been pronouncing it in this video and when I heard you mention the right and wrong way to pronounce it I was at least relieved to not always hear it incorrectly, but, seriously, I don't know who told you this new way is the right way to say it, but it isn't.
