Welcome to the 2nd episode of "Let's Plan Christmas" here on Planner Beat. In this episode the three sets of notes pages we created in the first episode (the Christmas at a glance, our Christmas timeline, and Christmas brain dump) are processed into categories to further organize our Christmas planning. We then take a look at our tasks to see what items we can get down regardless if we know the date or time of the event and or activity. We use different highlighters to highlight which task can be done in which month and so forth. Finally we place our assigned monthly tasks under each respective month on planning sheets.
Supplies:
In this video you will need the 3 notes pages we created in episode number 1, paper to create your category pages, and then some blank inserts that allow you to see the rest of the year at a glance. Don't be afraid to create your own inserts if you can't find one you like. Remember, these are planning sheets; they are our rough drafts. Don't worry about aesthetics if it is slowing your process down. Keep it simple at first then bedazzle it as you become more comfortable with the system.
This is your Christmas. This is your system and planner you are creating. It does not have to match what I am doing. I am just sharing my process in hopes it inspires and helps you with your planning.
