I'd buy a Yeti right now...but regrettably there is no such thing as perfection for oneself . I´ve just tested yesterday. Has a super engine, great torque, great speed, great stability, interior is great, shows only quality, VERY low fuel comsumption, plus EBD,ABS, uphill holder, downhill assistance, monstrous 5th generation Haltex traction. BUT what stops me from buying so far is: Why on earth should the Skoda engineers provide it with such a little ground clearance (7") and luggage room.
All this vid proves is that the Yeti driver is a much better driver. The guy in the Suzuki tends to simply give it a bootful and hope for the best. The Yeti guy is much more mechanically sympathetic.
I think the Suzuki has a low box doubling the gear ratios which is a great asset to 4x4 off-road vehicles enabling them to crawl over bad bits without slipping the clutch. The Suzuki driver obviously hasn't heard of this. Thanks for posting.

Йети вообще не рассматривал, тестил Тигуан, но денег на автомат чуток не хватало, предложили прокатится на Шкоде,ради шутки согласился, и вот два года влюблён в свою Йетичку. Витару тоже тестил,понравилась трёхдверочка,но сзади строго два места.А у меня три спиногрыза)
Much of what is said here is true. There is no real comparison to be drawn, but the Yeti seems much more unrufelled about things and one area that I do know and that is that the Yeti will leave the Vitara for dead on the road. It is a really civilised car to own. I love mine and whilst it is a crossover, the balance between disciplines is superb. If you really need a full on 4x4, go for a Defender, but it is very much more costly to run and will shake your teeth out.
@sotejn a jak je to s cenou jestli se nepletu tak za yetiho dáš v porovnatelný výbavě víc ne? no kamarád si teďka koupil toho yetiho 2:0TDI 125KW a chválí to jak já nevím co kde všude stím projel atd ale podle tohohle videa si myslím že pěkně kecá :D
Но есть минус) Я ставлю в гараже мне пох и в -30 в Подмосковье. А если на улице, то отогреть стекло и салон будет проблемой, на холостом греется очень долго. Это решается +20 - 40тыс.руб.
@sotejn yeti je moc dobře udělanej interier je nádhera z venku teda nic moc a navíc je strašně nízkej, nájezdový úhly oničem . ta vitara vypadá líp a víc toho projede hlavně to projede bez keců :D
This comparison is a nonsense, it doesn't mean anything and it is not enough to understand which one is better. Just very easy going around, without real difficulties or technical obstacles, this video doesn't give any real technical comparison so it does not go deep into the matter why one should go for Vitara or for Yeti.

В наша экономичное время. Шкода берет вверх 💯 процентов. У шкоды 10 расход у Витары 15.
Nojo, to je fakt. A je to tim, že ta Vitara je offroad a Yeti jen SUV. A na to, že je Yeti SUV tak si vedl v tom terénu moc dobře.

Sakra tohle je terén pro škoda favorit. Udělejte video v terénu, jakože opravdovém.
Jiří Flíček nebavíme sa o napr. kolegovom Nissane GR y60, ktorý ma svetlú výšku cca 50 cm. Na výšku podvozku je to terén na 90% pre majiteľov SUV.
