    Full created recipe
    Ingredients:
    To make spread
    3 small beets
    1 can of chick peas
    Canola oil, flax seeds,black pepper, smoked paprika, salt, cinnamon, garlic and onion powder, liquid smoke, figs and apple cider vinegar to taste
    Other ingredients:
    Whole wheat bread
    Vegan Mayo
    Black beans
    Shredded carrots
    Celery
    Nutritional yeast
    Directions:
    Bake beans at 400F for an hour. Let it cool down.
    Place beets, chick peas, salt, figs, apple cider vinegar, onion and garlic powder, black pepper, smoked paprika, cinnamon, liquid smoke and canola oil in a blender. Pure until smooth.
    Toast slices of bread and spread beet paste on each.
    Then top it with Mayo, black beans, carrots, celery and nutritional yeast.
    Enjoy!

      @@veganinaction9750 As a long term plant based person I dont use nutritional yeast I use more organic no salt mixed spices for flavour or I make my own nutritional yeast with chic peas and miso, canola oil is highly toxic so I use organic coconut oil and I will use white beans instead of chic peas for a creamier texture and to keep the beet as the dominant taste. 😃
      DIY Nutritional yeast is made with 1 can of chic peas 2 heaping tablespoons of yellow mild miso paste grind in the food processor and spread onto a silpat baking sheet and put in the oven on low temp until it dries (about a few hours until it crisps up and dries out prob about 250 degrees) then tale out and let cool then break it up (it sticks to the silpat baking sheet) and blend it to make it a powder, pulse it if you want to get large chunks. I use ready made chicpea miso but if you are on a budget you can try this recipe. Cheers

      Thank you for the recipe on how to make homemade nutritional yeast. I will try to make it.
      I also use coconut oil in my recipes sometimes. Had no clue about canola oil being very toxic. Thanks again!
