I'm sorry, when I say it was a piece of junk would I mean this was literally a piece of junk wood that my neighbor was going to throw out, I guess it's comparable to your standard 2x4, but I'm not even sure about that. I measured the thickness of the hilt which is roughly one and a half inches, which is about 38 millimeters across
@@tobromancer First of all thanks for the feedback. I can really start with that. I wanted to build one myself out of wood haha. And then I saw the video. And I thought that's a good guide to build it. So thanks for reply.
I did it in the course of a couple days, mainly waiting for glue and paint to dry. If you were feeling particularly ambitious you could probably knock it out in a day
Awesome
This really deserves more credit. Such a quality build!
Thanks dude! Let me know if you have any suggestions for builds
Finally got around to watching this, so glad I did, and I regret not doing it sooner
I'm gonna use your pattern to make one for my son
When you think his quality won't get any better he just prove you wrong, nice video nice design and your still criminally underrated
Thank you dude! It's comments like this that keep me going
3:21 if you just want to get right into the video btw just trying to help anyone out
how thick is the wood? So the strength in millimeters. As well as how thick the wood is for the handles that you specially cut.

This is amazing! How long did it take to finish building it?
