Holistically, 2024 is the year of elections because in this year sixty plus countries will undergo this process. Primarily the United States of America is largest democracy in the world and significantly it is onus to understand being the largest economy on the globe its elections will be closely monitored by international actors. Elections in the US will be the core concern of its close allies and other countries ,so forth because any leadership in the United States wins the election ,wholly and solely will impact the global world by navigating its foreign policy. Turning towards the both old white men; former president Donald Trump, 78 years old,a convicted felon of 36 felonies including hush money case versus current US President, Joe Biden ,82 years old , unstable,frail, facing cognitive decline,accused of quitting this presidential race by multiple democrats and more importantly his mental health ,habit of forgetting and stumbling which is wreaking him in the helm of rejection from the second term in the White House. In the broader vision, being convicted Trump’s triumph in this election has far reaching implications like MAGA ( make America great Again) Trade war, no eco friendly policies etc. and if one look onto the Biden’s America which has Abortion laws , immigrants laws and pro American policies to meet its national interests in the case of war crimes against humanity. Additionally, Trump is likely to win according to the reported survey but if Democrats come up with the strong candidate by replacing the Biden which is highly commendable in the democrats alliance party will shape this elections result . As it is evident that the win of Labour Party in the UK led by Keir Starmer is the new testament to bring change in the Europe and the world is looking for a change now. In concluding remarks, let’s hope for a positive change in the country and outside the world to sustain the growth and prosperity on the global horizon.
