Man, I don’t know how you guys do it, but your battle reports are so consistently cinematic as hell, and really showcase the awesome potential found in 7th edi… I mean, uh, the Horus Heresy exclusive ruleset. Probably dark magic of some sort, but I can overlook such minor things. Especially after coming off of 10th edition, because while the game is probably/hopefully more “balanced” than its ever really been (I’m probably lying though, knowing how the meta probably changes , in the process a lot of the actual wargame/narrative aspect has taken the backseat. Because as agonizing as it was to see my cool awesome vehicles popped on turn 1 by a melta, or having my super cool dude I spent hours painting get mulched by a single dude with a power fist, it also made those turns of sheer awesome all the more beautiful to behold.
I’m also just happy to see how HH made at least some attempt to cut down on the mass AP2 that infested 7th edition, which really made running terminators sad to behold.
I know this is a mostly narrative focused channel, which I greatly enjoy, but I've got a question in regards to the rules: Are you aware that the core assault phase reactions are declared after the charge has been rolled (which can admittedly be a bit gamey at times)?
@@SayHiPaul also under official rules attacks can be made into a challenge but not out of one, though it's totally reasonable not to play it that way.

24:50 Sunder doesnt let you reroll to wound Dreadnoughts. Only armour pen rolls.
