As a Aative American I know there is no malice behind Hwasa's outfit and I find no issue with it. The only thing I find an issue with is just the way Disney portrayed Pocahontas and that has nothing to do with Hwasa. She looks beautiful and she rocks that costume. More power to her.

For ya'll trying to cancel Hwasa for "offending Native Americans" I'll let clear some things. 1.Hwasa is just wearing the costume of a Disney princess, just like the rest, it doesn't mean she wants to offend other people. 2. It isn't even her fault the movie has been that controversial, SHE'S JUST IMITATING THE CHARACTER, NOT THE WHOLE STORY. 3. Now, the costumes are not chosen by the girls, if so, any problem with being pocahontas? Ok, I usually defend Hwasa, but I am honestly getting tired. I know they can choose their outfits, and I seriously questioning why Hwasa + her stylist are always choosing these outfits that are treading on very dangerous territory. For ya'll trying to cancel Hwasa for "offending Native Americans" I'll let clear some things.
1.Hwasa is just wearing the costume of a Disney princess, just like the rest, it doesn't mean she wants to offend other people.
2. It isn't even her fault the movie has been that controversial, SHE'S JUST IMITATING THE CHARACTER, NOT THE WHOLE STORY.

Ok, I usually defend Hwasa, but I am honestly getting tired. I know they can choose their outfits, and I seriously questioning why Hwasa + her stylist are always choosing these outfits that are treading on very dangerous territory. She didn't have to be pocahontas at all, yet they still chose her as a costume, and that's when I can't defend her this time. There are so many princesses, and heck she didn't even need to be a princess. It's getting tiring, and I hope you understand what I mean. Also, I thought it was a known fact Pocahontas was clearly sexalized. I think manufacturers need to stop making this costume + princess Jasmine ones because they aren't acceptable. I also don't think any cultural dress should be used, but it's not Hwasa's fault manufacturers are doing this.
