God is Blocking the Way Back because He's Calling You to Something New

- God is blocking the way back to that familiar thing because He is doing a new thing in your life and has a new way forward for you. You may have tried to back to it (job, relationship, place you used to live, etc.) and found it's just not working like it used to or doesn't feel the same.
God has moved on to the next thing and is saying - come over here!
This is a reminder to you today of the new thing He has showed you and called you to.
I don't know what caused you to walk away from the new thing - maybe you feel like you failed, it didn't work out, you let God or others down, or maybe even that God let you down. But God gently and lovingly reminds you and restores you to the calling and place He has for you.
I ask Him to bring into your remembrance now these moments you had with Him and what you learned from Him, what He's called you to and what it was like when He first called you and you received that new thing with joy.

What a year , so far nothing compares. I pray for everyone here who feels like they have no control over the new. Trust is all we have left. Blind faith and hope in God that the new destiny is acceptable for our hopes and dreams. God will is what we signed up for so expect the new. Every prophetic word is attached to new. Thank you for this word. It is exactly what is happening to me. Jesus reminded me of past seasons where he called me into something new and it gives me comfort that he is doing the same thing again!
As God closes doors in my life I was tempted to go back to old practices to move forward but this is confirmation that He does not want me to do that. He blocked me from being able to operate in the old even if I wanted to. Trust in Him and lean not unto your own understanding, no matter how discouraged or broken hearted God has a plan. Hallelujah!

I was not working for a year, I finally got a job and the same day I started working my old job offered me a remote position for a temporary period and now it has become a permanent position again. I have been saying this many times..” I want to go back home” left my hometown of 30 years, a place of familiarity, all my friends and moved 6 hours away…I even am looking at jobs back home, my son wants to move back, we feel lonely and not sure where we should go as housing prices r so high.

The doors to an unhealthy church and past marriage have been closed. My X is remarried which set me free to remarry one day. A new church has brought me healthy people that I can heal and have new family. I have felt since the divorce I have no home but your encouraging word Mary He is our home has spoke truth that I have a place in Him. That even though it was painful being ripped from my past and not knowing who I am anymore. He's thrust me into a new direction to heal being brought into His purpose for my life.

A Prophet once told me that God separated me from a distractive relationship so He could bless me. I am excited to go forward. Forward with Father God, no looking back, no one to go back too.

I'm dealing with something similar but not exactly the same.
I haven't been lead in to something new but rather I've been stuck in a dead end for a LONG time. I find myself questioning whether or not I should remain in place or make a drastic decision towards something else?

First, I thank The Father for giving you Mary this timely word. Thank you Mary for listening for those of us for whom this is for and taking time out of your day to record it on here.
Yesterday, a gentleman that I know called me up to tell me that he wanted to come talk to me about something to get advice. He did not elaborate as to what he wanted advice about. This morning I decided to asked God what what he would tell me to say to the man. God was so kind to me as to give me some scripture for this man to read and he gave me a long message of advice for this man. I have given many prophetic words that God has given me to people over the years but God today gave me a word of advice straight from God ahead of a man’s arrival without knowing the man’s question. Then later a Pastor called me to test me playfully to see if god would give me A prophetic word that would give him some direction for his congregation. He would not give me any details as to what he had asked God. So as he held the phone waiting, I asked God if he wanted to give me a message but first I had to quiet down my thoughts of what that message might be and just let God tell me. Being my silly self I thought of some silly things to say to him but God told me quickly not to think on these things right now and to be serious, so I did. Within three minutes God gave me a very profound message to give to my friend. This is very new for me to hear a message this way from The Father. This that I am about to tell you lines up with the message that I just received from you.
I absolutely love to work, but for two years God will not let me work but I have to live off of the money from the sale of my home and business. God absolutely has put me into full-time ministry whether I like it or not he will not let me go back to working as I have always done. This message is definitely for me and of course it may be for others too, that they have had something happen today differently, than before, with God.

Hallelujah Praise the Lord,i just woke up from a strange dream,whereby i was walking home,and i thought i am on a right path,suddenly a i saw gate and it was closed,i saw my neighbors,they told me i am lost,i looked around and i was so confused like blind because were living in the same street,so clearly this is the way,but told me i am wrong this not the path,and it was like i'm being chased away,and when i look around its their yard,and i went out from their yard,while outsite confused which way because i didn't know which direction to take,they all seems strange, my sister came to fetch me,and i was relieved, i woke up around to 4am,i prayed and open a scripture which i believe the Spirit of the Lord led me too,the book of Jonah 1 and 2,thank you Sis.clearly this is what the Lord was telling me
