    We need to lobby for a new law: Every child SO the parole board releases early will be required to live next door to one of the board member's underage child, grandchild, or niece/nephew. I bet that would change their decisions real quick!!!

    I don’t care how many parole hearings I have seen featuring sexual predators, these cases still shake me to the core. It is beyond my human understanding how this man violated an 8 year old child in such a terrible way and is given the privilege to go before the Louisiana Parole Board.
    In addition, he did not know what prompted him to commit such an inappropriate act against this child. He may not know why he committed this crime however, his sentence needed to be completed in its entirety.
    I am so tired of these offenders who continue to take the innocence of a young child and change the course of a child’s life forever with very few consequences.
    The Louisiana court system needs to really reevaluate how they are sentencing child predators. There are numerous requirements for offenders after their release such as mandatory registration as an offender which are very strict depending on the Tier of the offense. Tier 1 offenders 15 year registered, Tier 2 offenders 25 year registration, and Tier 3 offenders lifetime registration. There are housing restrictions where offenders cannot live within 1000 feet of a school, park, or recreational facility. There are employment restrictions: can't drive taxis, buses, obtain jobs that require an offender to enter a home, can’t work at a carnival or amusement park, school etc. They cannot use the public library or distribute Halloween candy. The offender can’t use social media like Facebook and Instagram.
    However, so many of the cases featured during these parole hearings introduced us to felons who have received very short sentencing. I believe some of the sentencing is determined based on the offender taking a plea deal regarding the crime. Regardless there definitely need to be better punishments in place for these offenders who are committing very disturbing crimes against children.
    These cases are happening far too often and the damage is equal to more violent crimes if not worse. I am sure programs alone cannot turn around the psychiatric sickness that exists in the mind of a predator. However, these crimes against children are a real problem. These predators are a risk to the public safety of any child.
    Children should be cherished, protected, and loved appropriately.

    I can’t believe they granted him parole! SA-ing a child once is horrible enough, but he did this over and over throughout the whole summer. He should’ve gotten 15 years for every time he abused her. What scares me the most is that he was in his late 50s when he committed these crimes and will be 68 when he gets out. He will not change his ways and will probably go hunting the “country” for young girls.

    After seeing it over and over in so many of Mandoo's videos, and all the comments that have been made regarding Ms. Wise's behavior during many of these hearings, I googled her name for Louisiana and more than one article came up questioning her judgement or behavior during these meetings. In particular there was a case in which the person was parolled and went out to commit additional very serious crimes. How does this continue to be allowed ?? To literally be on their phone the majority of the time and not even look up and even try to appear that you are paying attention during a matter of public safety. This is not the way these hearings were designed to be used. Surely.

    As a survivor who never got justice I am thankful that there are people like you to bring these disgusting people to light. I can tell you my life has been a constant struggle to overcome what happened and to see these cockroaches as you say talk about it like it's nothing infuriates me to the core.

    This is outrageous! Yes it certainly was absolutely one of the worst. Let’s put the board’s grandkids alone in a room with this piece of crap. The board needs to be pack it up and shipped out. They’ve lost their minds. This is beyond sickening.
    BTW @mandoo I don’t think any of your viewer mind the occasional interruptions you may have. What your doing and your opinion is so important is worth the wait. And congratulations on the 25k! You’re making a good difference in the the lives of at least 25k. I love it!

    He should serve the entire 15 yrs. Sometimes I think the panel just “go along to get along”. I’ve actually observed Pearl fiddling around with her cell phone in the past. Unbelievable

      If he served the full 15 years then would the state have the right to supervise him? I think they are often grant parole so the person can be monitored in order to keep children safe.

    • @GraphicallySpeakingMimi
      @GraphicallySpeakingMimi ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Naw, if they didn’t want to…they didn’t have to. They could have made him finish his sentence. They are all disgraceful and Pearl Wise was ticking me off by sitting there texting on her phone because clearly she had more important things to think about instead of listening to this sham of an interview. Bonnie didn’t get the answers to the questions she asked, but apparently decided…what the hell. Parole granted. What a farce of an interview. He should have to serve every second of his sentence, (punishment) then be castrated (prevention) to protect his future victims.
