Its been amazing seeing you first get into the hornet cockpit and learning all the systems and functions, now being able to do a full on mission, great work!
I'm just at the planning stages of getting into DCS. This was almost like watching a movie. Very exciting. You seem to have great instincts, and a successful final outcome. Good work.
I'm coming back to this video because I just did my first mission in my F-16 and it just feels like a whole new experience compared to doing instant actions and training in the hoggit training server. God, this game is something else.
Found your Channel a couple of days ago, having a tough time learning the hornet, spend hours an hours in tutorials and not really achieving any real game play. Can’t wait until it clicks and I can do a mission. Loved the video and I hope I can get to this point soon. Great work man.
100% like rate nice one mate, Great looking gameplay and grats to willfos for making a great mission. Should've had him as the wingman, this could be really cool with comms with wingman, especially that dogfight
Thanks, Miff! The plan was for he and I to fly together but we couldn't make the dang server work. Still, he did an amazing job designing it. Glad you enjoyed! More to come.
Thank you so much. It was a joy to fly and I worked really hard to make the video compelling. I'm very proud of it and so glad it's been well received. Thanks for watching, man.
Thanks for sharing...I get it...can't wait until I am at that level...this "Community" has freakin sucked me in...deep down the DCS Rabbit Hole so to speak,....getting close myself to tackling missions and venturing online...wanting to do it...pull off a mission with other like minded folks...but, sadly, I'm having "bed wetting issues" over it (figuratively...not "actually"....lol...sorry...I chased a squirrel ...kidding...really...a bit...anyway I enjoyed my last 20 minutes and 32 seconds immensely.......so thanks!
Watching this video was what inspired me to take the plunge and get a hornet and hotas setup. Been flying for little over a month now. The question i have is any tips for Air to Air refueling or can you do a video on it as i have no idea what i am doing wrong
My guess is you're doing it right to be honest. Try applying curves to the joystick axis controls. Somewhere between 30-50 would be good. Do this in the key bind menu. Then Focus on just matching speed and flying a formation behind the tanker and where the wake turbulence is. Finally add a little power and be GENTLE AS SHIT on the controls. It should feel like you're not even making inputs. Do not overcorrect. Just as important as the stick is the throttle. GENTLE on the throttle. It will take constant, tiny manipulation. Finally just relax and breathe. It's going to take a while. AAR is HARD AS SHIT. Haha. I'll consider a video on it as well.
Controlled Pairs Gaming Now I know where I know u from. This Vid was recommended to me after Karma‘s Post of ur sandstorm vid. I knew that I heard ur Voice before. Reminds Me of Drewski
