the W&S. I mean, I don't know how much you can find on them, but everyone seems to get their engines wrong, and it might be cool to tell people about the actual W&S engines, with any details you can find, and also possible where Adam, Lilly, and Colin came from. I mean, the only mention I've seen of the W&S engines says there were 4 0-6-0 engines from the W&S that worked on the NWR, along with the coffee pots, so I don't know where those three could have come from, but I've seen them in a few different people's series.
Where did this story about their bridges over the Walney Channel collapsing twice during construction come from, since it's not in TIOS or RBTL? TIOS says that "Their proposals for a bridge over the Walney Channel were persistently baulked by the Admiralty. Their tunnel through the Ballahoo Ridge collapsed, and in the end trains only ran between Ballahoo and Kirk Ronan." And Christopher didn't add anything more to that in RBTL.
@@warriorcharizard3404 Alternate universe. In my au Emily is number 12 so I thought that the sam railway came back in the form of Eric number 12 and Samson no 15
I’m slightly confused at the beginning, so the skarloey railway was built after the S&M? I know in the IOS book, when reading about the skarloey railway, it explains that the railway had been running for nearly 50 years before any locomotives arrive on the line. I may have just mis-interpreted though. This is still a very good and informative video, well done
Update: after the S&M declared bankruptcy in 1901, the Tracks of the S&M(as well as Neil) remained to serve the Crovans Gate Mining Company.

@@loganBolfcraft64 it's said that Niel still works at the mine to this day
@@kaiserfuzhelmiii2416 I like to think the line closed and Neil was left there, like a Duke situation
I really wish we learned more about the S&M in the books.
This was really well done! Always Love hearing more about the RWS. You got yourself a subscription!
What RWS topic should I talk about next???
How about the other railway companies like W&S or T,K&E
@@thiruraj3866 the TK&ELR is one I’ll definitely do a video on

@@bow-tiedengineer4453 the W&S is definitely one I’ve considered, however I do think that there wouldn’t be that much info to make a full video on it.
wilberts rule about non sudrian engines being faceless and how he kept on breaking it
Poor Neil, my condolences truly.

That actually explains a lot
The Thumbnail looks like The Unlucky Tug made this video or you collab with him

When an engine is scrapped, does that mean that they lose their face and die?
Noice
Next can you do the skarloey railway timeline
I’m working on that, just taking me a while

Great job on the video! Looks very professionally edited and put together, especially the thumbnail, what font did you use?
Don’t ask me,ask my friend Asodorlife,he makes waaaaay better thumbnails than me.
I was about to make a video just luke this lol

It was a horse worked plateway where the scarloey railway ran
one thing I don't get is if the S&M closed, how was it absorbed into the north western?
I’m pretty sure it’s because the track from the S&M still remained
AU where the S&M didn't become part of the NWR, and was a rival company.
It would not have lasted long.
Clyde Neil and Matthew the Neilson box tanks
Emily the Stirling Single
Whiff and Scruff
So Neil was scraped?
Yea he dead
The trains in Thomas the tank engine are sentient
