I haven’t smelled the whole line yet, but I love the edt! It makes me and my clothing smell like the cleanest, freshest linens imaginable! And I love the addition of the tea note to kind of lighten up that vanilla a bit - love it!
For me it's le parfum. I think is just perfect as it is. The first notes you can smell it's just fire and it's amazing, but after that the smell it even better. It lasts a LOT. However I don't know if it would be suitable for the summer weather in my country, I may have to try the EDT and see how it fits 😊

I used to own the original Libre EDP - for 2 days. Even though I absolutely loved the scent profile, it gave me a headache very quickly. I liked the intense version better but I wasn’t that into it to buy a full bottle. When I saw the Le Parfum version & its notes, I was sooo excited!! I’ve been testing it out the past 2 weeks & I LOVE it - the honey in this is so beautifully done, even though I was sceptical about this note since I couldn’t handle it in the Scandal-line by JPG.

So yes, masculine notes balanced with orange flowers are my go to scents, especially if they have that exotic and mysterious aesthetic- of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean spice markets. I'm not a fan of musks or cloying sweet florals. YSL Mon Paris just doesn't make the cut for me. I am quite pleased with the Libre line My boyfriend absolutely loves it!!! I have found a new favourite!!! I sampled both the Intense and La Parfum, which I ended up walking out of Sephora after buying La Parfum.

I only kept 3 - Libre edp, Intense and Platine. I could not relate with others as I love the edp on me. As a woman, I got the most compliments from ladies as well. Perhaps it was the body chemistry.

I own the edt mini and a bottle of the intense and tried le parfum just to see, fully expecting to feel life it was redundant... had to have it its so so good!
I literally just tried both and wore the edp two days ago and the intense yesterday in order to decide between the two 😂 and I came to a conclusion I want the edp and your video came just in time to reassure me 🤣🙏🏼 P.s I don't think I ever clicked on a video so fast.
I live in Miami which is super hot and humid but I still bought Libre Intense and I wear it all the time, even in Summer and during the day. I’m obsessed with the Intense and dying to try the Le Parfum as it sounds intriguing and my type of perfume.
Haha same i had black opium years ago. Then had a lot of musk and arab perfumes next years cause most of them have a strong and spicy smell that i like. This month i Came to sephora to smell perfumes and tried some of them (narciso rodriguez) and Libre Intense. As i came out the shop i was like i will buy black opium. Then when i was at home the smell of Libre Intense stayed in my head so i bought it then 😁 I love mix perfumes (masculine/feminine) So i loved that one.
I prefer la perfume over intense as well, the opening is beautiful it is a sophisticated winter smell to me it is a lot different then intense you get the saffron and the honey immediately but as it dries down it is more of like a lavender and vanilla smell however intense version tends to last longer almost all day where as la perfume’s longevity is 4-6 hrs on me. I wish it lasted a little longer since it my favorite out of all the libre line. I may also add intense into my collection but My only complaint with intense is dry down reminds me of my grandmother’s soap not a bad smell at all. it is a very clean smell definitely night out smell not a day time for me and definitely not a summer smell so I am still indecisive on the intense I definitely do not like the edp too masculine for me and edt is nice but too floral however it is more feminine
I love them all for different reasons, I wear the EDT mostly for daytime and le perfume for evenings out, I still wear the original and the intense but I do find them both slightly cloying at times , however when I need a sweet sugary hug I do reach for either of them.
I picked up a couple of samples of the intense and the la Parfums and I actually prefer the LA perfume iT last longer and smells better than the Intense

I don’t smell lavender that I can tell. I can’t decide if it’s really fresh or stale - sounds crazy to not be able to decide. I tend to sweet gourmand/ or simple ones like Salt Air. What about all the Burberry Hers? The new elixir is really sweet. I wish Sephora still did perfume samples because o can’t try on everything at the same time.
Love libre am a gay man so I tend to like to wear perfumes but this one my all time fav. Even my straight brother finds himself going in my room and applying it on himself haha

I really want to try the intense but they don't have a travel size. Why do they make things so difficult for us?!?!? I really like Le Parfum but I feel like Intense is more my jam because I HATE honey and know it's going to drive me nuts once the warm weather hits.
I am loyal to YSL perfumes and was debating whether I should reorder the original EDP. My favourite is the Intense (so sexy), but agree with you that it's more of a nighttime scent. I mix the intense with the original edp. My husband loves it. I just purchased the le Parfum and I really like it. I still think mixing the intense with the original smells the best and gets the most compliments.
I love Libre SO MUCH it's my signature scent. The original and EDT are my favourites, I have the intense version but it doesn't last on me and it's slightly too sweet. The newest flanker isn't out here yet, but I don't know if I'm going to get it, I don't love ginger. We'll see!

If the intense was too sweet for you I don't think you will like the le parfum, it's definitely the sweetest of all of them and also projects less than the others although it is long lasting. It reminds me a bit of Elie saab girl of now.

Great review! The EDP is one of my signature scents but, unpopular opinion, couldn't love the Intense - I found it wore too sweet on me. I think the ginger and saffron notes will give the le Parfum the spice I need.
Honestly, the only Libre that is needed is the Le Parfum. Up until this flanker, I did not like the Libre line because they all smelled too masculine for me. Now I am finally a fan!

I'm a (gay) man and my best friend bought this(EDP) and said she thought it smelled too masculine for her, so she asked if I wanted it. I think it definitely rides that unisex line. For me, the saffron completely ruins the Le Parfum. It starts so beautiful! The opening is amazing but the dry down on me is that odd off balance saffron. It becomes like spoiled sweetness

Currently in my second bottle of the original. It actually drives men crazy and all the girls always want to buy it after smelling it. Came to see if I would want to buy another from the line.
What does it smell like on you? I don’t smell lavender. I can’t decide if it smells fresh or stale on me - it’s that complicated of a fragrance for me. I love Salt Air - clean and simple but also like sweet vanilla too. Not Warm vanilla sugar from Bath & Body Works, however.
I love the OG... I like the flankers but they miss something special, for me... Le Parfum is similar to so many vanillas y sweet perfumes out there. The original is more edgy
I have the EDP and like it but I don't wear it often because lavender fragrances like this and the original Mon Guerlain seem to be very prevalent fragrance choices among the general population lately (men too). Your video forced me 😂to go to Sephora at lunch to try the Le Parfum. I find it to be very orangey vanilla boozy sweet but it is spicy and aromatic as well. The lavender is way less obvious. In general, I do like ginger and honey in fragrances. I'm racking my brain to recall of what this reminds me - a spicier JPG Classique perhaps? I do prefer Le Parfum over the EDP, especially for cooler seasons. I may buy a bottle in the future (have lots to use up first). I ordered a sample of Libre Intense to compare.
Love your reviews, took me a while to grow to YSL EDP and I love it, now have dilemma which to choose Libre intense or la perfume,. Could you do reviews about which perfumes smell better in different climate , as I travel a lot noticed that the same perfume has different performance in different climate.
Hmmm, hard to say because I don't smell the bitterness in either. It's definitely worth a try though! Could be coming from the ambergris which the le parfum version doesn't have :)

When I tried the original EDP it smelled to masculine on me, so I avoided the other flankers until “Le Parfum” came out. Based on the notes, I thought I’d give it a try. Omg! It’s so good! I already have 2 travel sizes and a full bottle. It is such a comforting, elegant perfume. Perfect for fall!
I saw your bottles and I was very curious, for how long do you have the bottles? And how many sprays do you use? I have 30 ml perfumes and it takes forever to end 😅
I run a decant shop called thescented.ca so most of the bottles run out fairly quickly. That said, fragrances can last decades when stored correctly :) The amount of sprays really depends on the fragrance. Some only need a couple while others can be sprayed 20 or more

I tried to like the intense but I think is too sweet for me. It was too much on my face like not in a good way I just want to get it out of my face... I liked the libre EDT because I felt like I was wearing the perfume, I felt like I smelled lovely, it went well with me skin❤ I also tried Libre EDP which I thought was too strong on the lavender side... I know want to try the Libre Le parfum. Idk know but I think I might be liking that one 🤔
i fell in love with EDP the moment i smelled it and thought it was unisex but then could tell it was more leaning into female side but im dead set on it. I don't know how the other 3 smell. Which one of these would you suggest for men? Or maybe another fragrance marketed for men but similar smell?
My experiences with this have been a little different. While I enjoyed the vanilla in intense the silage from the original edp was amazing, lasting about 8 hours. I think I'm going to do some Frankenstein work and find a good vanilla perfume to pair with the original.
I have had the edp for over 9 months. It gave me a headache in the beginning but I tried it again in July and it smelled so syrupy. It smells similar to the parfum. It also changed color as well as the notes. I miss the unisex vibes from earlier. I am hoping because it's summer and I hope it changes again in winter.

I love Libre EDP and wear it a lot in the fall and winter. I usually only spray once or twice because it's pretty strong and long lasting. Recently I discovered a layering combo that makes Libre smell a bit softer, more feminine. One spray each of Libre EDP and Arianna Grande's Moonlight (it's a cheapie, I admit). They smell great together and last all day.
@@TheScented A lot of people think AR's Cloud smells like BR 540 but I didn't like it. Moonlight smells better on me and layers really well. Worth a try at the price.
My ysl libre edp that I got few months ago turned a darker color and smells a little different and when I spray it on my skin it smells bad what does it mean?

What does it smell like on you? I don’t smell lavender. I can’t decide if it smells fresh or stale on me - it’s that complicated of a fragrance for me. I love Salt Air - clean and simple but also like sweet vanilla too. Not Warm vanilla sugar from Bath & Body Works, however.

I love the OG... I like the flankers but they miss something special, for me... Le Parfum is similar to so many vanillas y sweet perfumes out there. The original is more edgy

I have the EDP and like it but I don't wear it often because lavender fragrances like this and the original Mon Guerlain seem to be very prevalent fragrance choices among the general population lately (men too). Your video forced me 😂to go to Sephora at lunch to try the Le Parfum. I find it to be very orangey vanilla boozy sweet but it is spicy and aromatic as well. The lavender is way less obvious. In general, I do like ginger and honey in fragrances. I'm racking my brain to recall of what this reminds me - a spicier JPG Classique perhaps? I do prefer Le Parfum over the EDP, especially for cooler seasons. I may buy a bottle in the future (have lots to use up first). I ordered a sample of Libre Intense to compare.

Just did a blind buy of the original EDP of Libre. I love it but it doesn't last on me which makes me sad.
As a man i use Libre edp and Absolu platine. it smells unisex to me. Both have something so addictive to me
I have samples of all four and I love Libre Intense the most and then I like Libre Le Perfume as well because it feels more like Fall.
Love your reviews, took me a while to grow to YSL EDP and I love it, now have dilemma which to choose Libre intense or la perfume,. Could you do reviews about which perfumes smell better in different climate , as I travel a lot noticed that the same perfume has different performance in different climate.
I smelled something bitter in the intense Version do you know what i mean i think in the drydown does the le perfum have this to????
Hmmm, hard to say because I don't smell the bitterness in either. It's definitely worth a try though! Could be coming from the ambergris which the le parfum version doesn't have :)

When I tried the original EDP it smelled to masculine on me, so I avoided the other flankers until “Le Parfum” came out. Based on the notes, I thought I’d give it a try. Omg! It’s so good! I already have 2 travel sizes and a full bottle. It is such a comforting, elegant perfume. Perfect for fall!
I agree, the original libre is too masculine for me too. Libre Intense is my favourite one.
I saw your bottles and I was very curious, for how long do you have the bottles? And how many sprays do you use? I have 30 ml perfumes and it takes forever to end 😅
I run a decant shop called thescented.ca so most of the bottles run out fairly quickly. That said, fragrances can last decades when stored correctly :)
The amount of sprays really depends on the fragrance. Some only need a couple while others can be sprayed 20 or more

I bought a 90ml bottle of intense version because of rumours it would be discontinued and it was kind of a instant regret.
I tried to like the intense but I think is too sweet for me. It was too much on my face like not in a good way I just want to get it out of my face... I liked the libre EDT because I felt like I was wearing the perfume, I felt like I smelled lovely, it went well with me skin❤ I also tried Libre EDP which I thought was too strong on the lavender side... I know want to try the Libre Le parfum. Idk know but I think I might be liking that one 🤔
i fell in love with EDP the moment i smelled it and thought it was unisex but then could tell it was more leaning into female side but im dead set on it. I don't know how the other 3 smell. Which one of these would you suggest for men? Or maybe another fragrance marketed for men but similar smell?
My experiences with this have been a little different. While I enjoyed the vanilla in intense the silage from the original edp was amazing, lasting about 8 hours. I think I'm going to do some Frankenstein work and find a good vanilla perfume to pair with the original.

I have had the edp for over 9 months. It gave me a headache in the beginning but I tried it again in July and it smelled so syrupy. It smells similar to the parfum. It also changed color as well as the notes. I miss the unisex vibes from earlier. I am hoping because it's summer and I hope it changes again in winter.
Love all 4. Currently have the EDP, and EDP Intense. I'd love the EDT but the bottle is slimmer, why YSL. Not cool lol. All bottles need to match.

I have edp and intense. My fave is the edp. If the le parfum’s opening notes lasted a lot longer I’d buy that one… I still might though.

I love Libre EDP and wear it a lot in the fall and winter. I usually only spray once or twice because it's pretty strong and long lasting. Recently I discovered a layering combo that makes Libre smell a bit softer, more feminine. One spray each of Libre EDP and Arianna Grande's Moonlight (it's a cheapie, I admit). They smell great together and last all day.

@@TheScented A lot of people think AR's Cloud smells like BR 540 but I didn't like it. Moonlight smells better on me and layers really well. Worth a try at the price.
